Plug and Play Blow Off Valve for MK7 GTI 2 years ago
    5out of 5stars

True plug and play blow off valve for the MK7 GTI/ Golf R, super simple install...also quite a bit louder compared to the recirc valve. I would recommend this for all Volkswagen MK7 GTI/Golf R owners.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: Turbosmart Dual Port BOV Kompact EM Black  Nik1 year ago

My check engine light came on when I installed it, is this normal and safe. Does this dual port make you lose abit a power because I think I feel a change. Can you help plz
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Our valves are not supposed to allow a CEL. You should not experience any power loss and the car is supposed to operate as it did with the OEM valve. Please contact us for assistance with your Turbosmart product. (909) 476-2570 [email protected]

    • Q: Installation cause the ACC light to come on and cruise control is now disabled  Petegrillo88543002 years ago

I installed this BOV no problem. It fits great on the factory turbo and sounded good for a day. After that the BOV is no longer releasing air and has caused the ACC (adaptive cruise control) error light to come on. Does this "plug and play valve" require a tune? Where can I get a map for said tune? Is it time for me to take this thing out and return it? I want my ACC back!!!
