Good Transmission Oil 11 months ago
5out of 5stars

Used it when I changed my clutch out. Seems to do its job. Has a very convenient neck that expands to act as its own funnel. My WRX has been a commuter car with spirited driving on occasion. Everything seems good.

300 ls or 300? also how does this compare to the oem fluid?
  • Q: STI 2015  DonSti10 months ago

Wondering do you recommend 300 or 300LS for transmission and rear differential? And would 5QT be enough for both? Thank you
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The gear 300 LS is designed for a mechanical Limited Slip Differential. The 2004-2006 STi uses a mechanical LSD and will use this fluid. The 2007+ STi is an electronic LSD and will use Motul Gear 300 non-LS.

  • Q: 2012 STi   erick23254 years ago

So the only thing around me is The LS and not regular 300 am I safe to use this in my tranny and rear diff?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It should be safe to use this in place of regular Motul 300, however we cannot guarantee it because Motul only lists 300 as a recommendation for the transmission and rear diff on a 2012 STI.
