Q: Whiteline Rear Diff Positive Power Kit Inserts chris.chan121287425 years ago
If I were to buy these bushings for my rear diff, would it be necessary/beneficial to buy the inserts as well to feel the difference?

A: Whiteline states the inserts are about 80% the stiffness of the full urethane replacements. The difference is there but not everyone would be able to tell.

Q: Pressing Dialos138 years ago
Just how hard are these to press out and in? I have access to an arbor press that can provide a substantial amount of force. Are there any other tools I would need to complete the process? Is there really that much difference between these and the inserts?

A: A press will help installation, all other tools are basic hand tools. Whiteline states the inserts are about 80% the stiffness of the full urethane replacements. The difference is there but not everyone would be able to tell.

Q: Would this benifit my car, and is it worth it? alienreptile8 years ago
Can an 08 impreza 2.5I 2.5L automatic sedan make clunking noise during a hard shift? Does this only apply to cars with throw shifters/manuals and/or cars with a lot of hp?

A: It is more common in Manual vehicles, but it can happen in your 2.5i model impreza as all bushings eventually break down.

Q: Bushing Replacement jbiz11 years ago
Do the factory bushings need to be pressed out, or can they just be removed by hand?

A: The stock bushings will need to be pressed out which is why alot of guys will opt for the KDT903 kit which are the inserts and a bit easier to install.

Q: Need some help with bushing location Thank You! maxx wrx12 years ago
What is the difference between the rear diff positive power kit 'bushings' and the inserts? Do they go in different locations or do they work together? I can't tell from the diagram where each bushing is located and I'm new to subarus sorry.

A: The difference would be that this would completely replace the stock bushing, where the insert will just fill the voids in the OE bushing.
