Q: Which side goes against the bolts? frank.4 years ago
I just got some crossmember transmission bushings and was wondering how they properly go on. One side is flat and one side has the circles slightly protruding. Which side faces the bolts and faces away? Or does it not matter?

A: The protruding circles will face each other and fit inside the holes on the transmission mount.

Q: Will these fit? 8 years ago
Hello, I own a jdm 2004 forester 2.0 xt with the lame 4-EAT automatic and my wife ordered these along with some other goodies for me. Someone's was telling me they will only fit the manual tranny...can you confirm this please?

A: These bushings will only work on manual transmission crossmembers because automatic crossmembers do not use bushings.
