  • Q: Fitment  Colby3 months ago

Do these tophats fit the SJ Forester (2014-2018)? As far as I know, all 2008+ Impreza/WRX/STI suspension uses the same tophats in the front... For some reason no one has labeled these to fit Foresters
  • Q: Will these work with the Koni yellow struts?   Deano1242 years ago

Will these work with the Koni yellow struts? How would the adjustable damper on the top of the Konis be accessible with these?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Unfortunately, we have not test fitted these with Koni struts and would not be able to confirm fitment at this time.

  • Q: 2016 wrx h&r lower spring  Cody2 years ago

It's fit for the oem struts with h&r lower spring? How the rubber compare to the oem rubber top hat?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This is a lot tougher rubber. And yes this will work with your H&R lowering springs as long as they fit with you OEM ones.

  • Q: Too much caster?  q8yphotographer3 years ago

If I will install this product with some caster adding bushings for the control arms, will I be adding too much caster? I have purchased the product but it seems that I will be gaining around 2 degrees of caster on top of stock GRB caster of 6.5..
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We aren't able to confirm if these strut mounts would work well with the bushings you have in your control arms. It could potentially add too much caster.

  • Q: Fitment  federico021343 years ago

Will this fit 2016 STI OEM setup? How much camber is possible (safely) with this mount?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Yes, these are confirmed for the 2016 STI. These provide an extra +0.75 deg caster & -0.5 deg camber for potential +5.0 deg total caster & -3.5 deg camber (depending on vehicle) without losing ride quality.

  • Q: Compatible with BC BR Type Coilovers?  evaradar3 years ago

My 15 WRX will be getting the BC BR type coilovers installed, and I have the Whiteline rear adjustable LCAs to go with it. Will the front top hats be compatible with it? Thanks
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Hello, These strut tops are designed to work with the OE spring, or any other spring that is the same diameter as the OE spring. I'm unable to confirm the fitment on BC coilovers, but BC may be able to confirm or deny that they are the same size as the OE springs.

  • Q: Will this fix camber issues with lowered vehicles?   KingAroan3 years ago

I bought a 2011 wrx that had lowering Springs. I did not know this and have eaten my tires. The alignment shop said they couldn't get it back to factory specs. Will this fix that?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These will add +.75 degrees of caster and -.5 camber. If you are looking to zero these out you will want parts like camber bolts or camber bushings.

  • Q: Strut bar  BlakkYoda4 years ago

I have a 2013 WRX Sedan Premium. I will purchase Tien Basis coilovers, and I currently have a Tenabe strut bar. Will these strut mount fit even though I have a strut bar?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These are recommended for stock struts. We also have reports that these cause issues with strut tower bars, causing them not to fit.

    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Hi BlakkYoda, Our strut tops are designed to fit most strut braces/bars, but the thickness of the base plate for the strut bar would be the limiting factor due to the length of the studs that come supplied with our strut tops. If you would like more specific measurements for stud length please contact us at [email protected]

  • Q: What rear hats to pair  t.christolias3812394 years ago

What rear hats would be paired well with these on kw v3's? I was told the oem top hats for 2011 sti are already group n.. Any truth to that?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The Group N are a Subaru OEM upgrade and do not typically come included on the STIs. They are a great match for these top hats for the rears.

How hard is it / is it possible to: press out the studs, and use the longer studs from the OE tops from a 2011 STI- in order to be able to install these without losing the ability to also run a strut tower bar.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The studs are press-in but we have not performed such an installation and cannot guarantee fitment.

    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We are not familiar with those coils however, these top hats are specific to OEM struts so in the case that those coilovers use the same top strut mount as OEM, these will work.

    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Although we do not test the Com C's with various aftermarket parts, I can confirm fitment with a Whiteline Strut Brace. It is highly likely that fitment with your brace would not be a problem. The studs are 30 mm long with the threaded section extended about 26 mm.

  • Q: Stock Struts  AnthonyM.215 years ago

Noob question here, can I mount these on the stock struts. How do you install these? Do I need to remove the entire strut?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Hey Anthony, The Com C's are designed to work with your factory original struts. Install would require removing the strut from the vehicle and disassembling it to swap out the upper strut mount. It is also highly recommended to have the alignment inspected after install. A:  The top hats do not raise the vehicle at all. If you are looking to raise your STi you will want to look into some sort of top hat spacer.
