  • Q: Camber Range   brettklynn477741 year ago

These will be used on a street car that will see some Autocross time. I want to make sure these can support Negative Camber of less than 2 degrees to save on tire wear on off season Can these adjust down to the 1.5 deg neg camber on a GD?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  1.5 degrees of negative camber is easily obtainable with the top hats at any streetable ride height.

  • Q: Negative camber - stock WRX struts  ferrettank3 years ago

Hi, What is the max negative camber I can get out of stock WRX struts with this set up?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Camber range is approximately .2 degrees per adjustment hole. Range varies depending on ride height, castor settings, model year, shock manufacturer as well as lower camber bolt position (or camber washer). Camber range can be as little as 2.0 degrees in worst case, and upwards of 4 degrees in others.

  • Q: Fitment  Seth Hawkins3 years ago

Will these work with the Tein Street Flex coilovers on a 2015 BRZ? Also, are they compatible with the Tein EDFC system?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These mounts have not been tested with Tein Street Flex coilovers, but they likely will not be compatible. If they happen to fit the Street Flex coilovers, then the EDFC motors should work with them.

  • Q: Fitment with Tokico D-Specs  Frostysaurus4 years ago

I have Tokico D-Spec struts, which I'm pretty sure have an M14*1.5 thread for the top hat bolt. I've seen people on other forums fit MSI plates on the D-Specs. Will these plates fit my struts?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The top nut included with these plates would not be correct for your struts, but the KW specific mounts should work for you because they are M14x1.5.

  • Q: Compatibility & fitment   koiracer395304 years ago

I have Tien Monoflex coilovers (made for an 04 STi) on a 1998 Legacy (BD/BG chassis) The top camber plates fit but are rotated so camber adjustment isn't true in and out. Will these fit both the BD/BG Legacy and the Monoflex? Thanks.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These mounts are compatible with Monoflex coilovers, although an additional spacer may be necessary and they are also confirmed to fit a 1998 Legacy.

  • Q: how to use  AndreMeloBrazil5 years ago

Hello, We install this product without the upper strut mount? He goes straight with no rubber? Can I use with KYB Exel-G? Thank you.
  • Q: Wondering  Aloha#175 years ago

Will it work on kw varinant 1 coilovers
  • Q: Do these work with stock sized springs?  zeroyon223038175 years ago

I'm looking to fit these to my 40mm bilstein fixed perch struts on sti tarmac gymkhana springs, for a gc8 type R. I'm somewhat confused, it says in the video description they're ok to use on stock springs, and on the product description it says it can be used on stock springs too. But in the q&a section, apparently they're not intended for that... Is there a definitive answer to this? Cheers
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Yes, these can be used with OEM struts / springs. Standard fitment uses an m12 x 1.25 threaded tube nut that is supplied in the kit. You need to verify that the bilstein one is the same. If not, please contact technical support, they will be able to help you get the correct spacers if needed. Please note that these will raise your car about 5mm though if not using coil-overs.

  • Q: M12x1.25  TonyWRX6 years ago

Is that where you adjust the bearing? And is it in inches or centimeters?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  M12x1.25 refers to the size of the threads on top of the struts or coilovers and is measured in millimeters.

  • Q: OEM big spring set up  L&H 06 19296 years ago

What is meant when it is said not for use w/ OEM big spring set ups? I have noticed other upper mounts RSD offers says this & do these MSIs fall into that category?. So for ex. I have stock struts w/ swift springs will these work?. thnx in advance
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  What is meant is that they are not designed to work with factory mounting springs. And are intended to be used with Coilovers. So for what you are doing, these are not intended for that.

  • Q: ????  sdimex6 years ago

    Do they have these for the rear? And also do they work with any shock ei. Koni yellows );;
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The rear suspension setups on most Subarus are different and would render these upper mounts useless. Depending on the vehicle a camber bolt in the rear is your best solution. These will fit the OEM front struts/shocks as well as any coilover that utilizes a M12x1.25 thread pitch for the top hat bolt. We cannot guarantee they will fit with Koni Yellows but I don't think it should be a problem.

  • Q: Castor  Dragonfly6 years ago

Can these support 5-5.5 degrees of castor (with ALK,...)?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We do not have min or max caster numbers of this top hats. As that will depends on other specifics of your suspension such as what ALK you are running and in which orientation you position the top hats
