During timing belt replacement on my '07 STI, I discovered that the OEM crankshaft timing belt guide was missing. I bought this as a replacement. I'm running the Gates Timing Belt Kit (https://www.rallysportdirect.com/fits/2005-subaru-impreza-wrx-2-0/timing-belts/gat-tckwp328-gates-timing-belt-kit-w-water-pump) and this unit fits perfectly. It adds a ton of belt coverage over the stock guide giving me great comfort that I will never slip the belt on the crank. The installation spacer tool is also really handy for setting the spacing between the belt and this guide as well as the guides on the camshaft pulleys.

The Timing belt guide kit has worked great so far. Installed this kit with a Gates racing timing belt and everything has been running smooth for 2000 miles. Really well made and I believe made in the USA. The kit allows for vertical adjustment to ensure you get the proper clearance on the racing timing belt.
