Super Pro Front Roll Center Adjustment Kit

MODEL # SPP TRC0002

$199.99

  • Q: Super pro roll center/bump steer kit  xtforester8 months ago

Will the part fit on a 2005 Subaru Forester XT lowered on STi springs? It is lowered from stock height. I will be installing the aluminum lower control arms from an 06 STi with the Whiteline anti lift kit. I thought most parts from 04-06 STi were interchangeable with the XT Forester?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Unfortunately for that, it's not something that Super Pro confirms fitment on. We can't confirm the fitment outside of what the manufacturer says. I would say to reach out on the forums and see if anyone is running the same kit with a similar setup to yours!

  • Q: Outback  tmill6272 years ago

I have an 05 obxt and i was wondering if i would gain any performance from these, as i just installed legacy gt wagon suspension so its lower than stock but still at a somewhat stock ride height persay. Thanks in advance

A:  This kit is designed to correct steering geometry on vehicles that are lowered around 1". We do not recommend installing it on a vehicle at OE ride height as it could adversely affect steering geometry.

  • Q: lifted  Snicklet 2 years ago

Can I use these on a 1 inch lifted subaru outback or should I stick to stock?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This kit is intended for use on lowered cars. I wouldn't recommend using this kit on a lifted car.

A:  Josh is correct - explained a bit further the TRC0002 kit is designed to optimize/correct the roll center geometry of the car when the ride height is reduced. Being that you're increasing the ride height; the OE ball joints and tie rod ends will offer better roll center geometry for your lifted Outback.

Do you have a picture of this product installed on a vehicle?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We do not have any pictures of the installation but it will install just like factory tie rods with a bit better geometry for lowered vehicles.

Does this product replace the stock tie rod and ball joint and will any other parts be needed?

  • Q: Superpro front roll center adjustment kit  Anil3 years ago

Hi, i plan to buy these superpro ball joint and tie rod end kit. I have stock sti suspension with prodrive springs(they lower the car for about 3 cm) Do you suggest me to install these? I have a my04 sti.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Although your setup does not lower your vehicle by much, you can still take advantage of these and should see positive feedback after installing these. Please note that alignment will be required immediately after installing these.

A:  Your Prodrive springs will put you in the ideal ride height range for the roll center correction kit. The kit optimizes geometry at a ride height ~25mm lower than the OE ride height on your '04 STI where a good balance of travel and ride height reduction can be had. At a ~30mm drop you'll feel the geometry benefit immediately and should also see some upside in simply having new ball joints and tie rod ends if the ones in the car are the originals. As Brady mentioned and alignment is required.

  • Q: extension lenth  brob1986952863 years ago

how does the length of the extension compare to gt spec and whiteline? more/less?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The manufacturers do not publish specs for the roll center kits, but Super Pro and Whiteline will be nearly identical, and GT Spec is better for cars that are lowered the most.

  • Q: Stock  ConWonTheDon-Getitonliketron3 years ago

Can I install these on my 96 Impreza OBS as a direct replacement for the stock ball joints? It's going to be getting a kyb suspension set up pretty soon here and my ball joints are popping on the passenger front suspension, so could I just put these on, or should I buy OEM's that are.....bleh?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This kit is designed to alter the vehicle steering geometry close to stock on vehicles that are lowered about one inch. If your vehicle is at factory ride height then not only would you see no benefit in regards to the steering geometry correction, but it is possible that it will adversely affect the handling. I would not recommend installing this on a stock ride height vehicle.

  • Q: Replacement boots   Lazysurfer531980003 years ago

I really like the kit, and you can tell that the product is of high quality, but I've had them on for about a week, and when I took my car in for alignment, the guy at the ship pointed out that one of the boots on ball joints had already split a little. Do you guys sell replacement boots?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We are able to get replacement boots for the ball joints, and if you would like replacements, then please contact customer service. The ball joint and tie rods are a fairly universal shape, and most replacement boots from a local parts could be used.

A:  As Zach mentioned replacement boot sets are readily available under SuperPro's lifetime warranty to the original owner. The RallySport Direct customer service team can organize some replacements for you or you can contact us directly. We do not currently have a replacement kit available for purchase, but may look into creating one for those buying kits second hand or buying a car with one of our kits already installed.

  • Q: 03 WRX stock height  Subiespeed783 years ago

Hi, I have a 03 WRX with stock struts and springs will this work fine for me? I plan on buying coil overs in the future.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This is recommended for use with coiloveres. So when you do buy coilovers this will be a good option for you.

    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  There are no negative effects from installing this kit on your '03 WRX with stock struts & springs. However, the geometry correction the kit provides benefits cars with a ride height lower than stock. The benefit of the kit is the it restores proper roll center geometry after the car has been lowered. We do recommend an alignment after installing the kit - which you will also need when you install your coilovers - so the best option in terms of cost and performance would be to do both at the same time.

  • Q: 2014 Impreza   nuevacka584883 years ago

Same suspension as the 2008 WRX. What differences will it make to my slammed 2014 Impreza N/A?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  If your car is lowered, then this kit will bring the suspension geometry closer to stock, which will help with bump steer and also help to control roll.

  • Q: 2008 Forester Sports XT  Noel153 years ago

Will it work with my stock suspension? What detrimental effects? Is it going to raise my front suspension geometry or ride height?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This will work but there will be no performance benefit unless the vehicle is lowered. It does not raise the vehicle.

  • Q: Lifted Subies?  gregroot1985214 years ago

How will these work on a lifted subie? I'm lifted a bit (1/2) but will be lifted more in the future (1-1.5) and the ball joints on the tie rod ends are leaking, so would rather upgrade if I'm doing the job anyways.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This kit is most beneficial on lowered cars and the extended ball joints may add extra stress to the suspension because the suspension geometry will be lowered even more.
