Bought these (not logged in) from RSD. Delivered in four days (ty). They bolt up perfectly and largely come pre-tightened from the factory which adds a level of reassurance. I chose the Flex Z's because: - The brand (Tein is proven to product high quality products in large OEM style production batches to reduce the price) - The ability to retain nearly stock ride height (important in a city like SF) - The amount of adjustability Some downsides: - The front coilovers barely clear my OEM wheel/tires (17x8), so if I had wider wheels I'd have to use a spacer and likely roll my fender. - The rear coilovers extend into my trunk due to the adjustable pin, so I'm going to have to drill a hole in my trunk liner to be able to put it back in. Excellent product and I'm super happy with my purchase.

I have only had these on a couple days but the difference is night and day on my 08 WRX. It dropped the car roughly an inch but there is enough adjustment you should be able to get back to stock height if you want. It’s not too rough if you dial it down just a little but would be great for a track day too. So far I’m really happy with the coilovers.

The Tein Flex Z Coilover kit was a great addition to my car. On the recommended settings the dampening feels great on the street and handles much better than stock. The more agressive settings are nice and firm for the track. The installation was straight forward and it was nice that they could be bolted right in without having to assemble and set starting ride height.

Great product! I didn’t really use rally’s awesome customer service because everything went smoothly. My 13 wrx hatch is ridding a lot better now. I’ve been running them for about 1500 miles on my daily driver with really only minor issues. Upon install make sure you have all torque specs needed. Some forums out there have the wrong specs so be careful. Also I kinda wish I would have put a spacer on top of the high hats in the back, due to a rattling between the high hat and it’s bed I had to crank the back nuts down hard to stop bad rattle. The instructions that come with it are great but hard to understand you will definitely want a metric tape measure and I had to take it to a shop after for alinement. It’s so solid now even with stock sway bars. Thanks RSD!

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: Part #  Brian2 years ago

is this part # VCS81-U1931 7F002? Trying to figure out what that part # is for a Tein Flex Z coilover. Thank you!
    • Q: Fitment  Alex 2 years ago

Will these fit with me having 18/9.5+38 wheels with 235/40-18 tires
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  there are so many variables to say for sure, but if those wheels and tires work with your stock suspension, these will provide even more clearance. Thanks!

I am running 17x9 wheel on a 255/45r17 tires Will these coilovers clear the tires or make contact?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It depends on the offset of the wheels, but if the current setup works with your stock suspension, these will offer even more clearance over OEM. Thanks.

    • Q: Are these too different from those for STI?  Kardec3 years ago

Do you know the differences between these from the STI ones?
    • Q: Off-road  RogueMTB3 years ago

How do these handle in a off-road setting? Aside from keeping the suspension clean of course could they fare pretty well on gravel? Would these be compatible with lift spacers?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The should be able to handle some off road abuse, but are not design for that. With care and maintenance these should last. If used on gravel without too much of an uneven surface you maybe fine. These are compatible with spacers.
