Why recirculating over Atmospheric ? I can blow a kazoo if I want a louder noise, This thing works flawlessly and you can still hear it as it recirculates (a little louder than oem). This recirculating bov is Far larger than the OEM Unit and works just as I would have hoped. Definitely recommend this if you're planning on going higher boost on a MAF tune

Q: Will this work with a Process West Intercooler? mark.plum664279 years ago
The question is in regard to the space requirements for mounting the Process West with this valve. I am currently running a Synapse Synchronic DV (which I actually like very well) with the stock intercooler, but it is my understanding that the Synapse will not work with the Process West which I would like to purchase (If your answer is yes, I promise to buy both items from you guys!). Thanks! Mark

A: There would be no issues at all to run this valve with the processwest intercooler. It also should not be a problem to use the valve that you have right now, but the problem is if the valve that you have is significantly different then stock you might run into fitment issues. As we dont sell that brand valve we have not done any testing for fitment with it.

Q: 2013 sti afkl1649 years ago
what is the difference between recirculating and dual port blow off valve? which one gonna be the best fit on my sti?

following answer helpful
A: Recirculating blow off valves vent the excess pressure into your intake, atmospheric blow off valves release this pressure to the atmosphere, a dual port is essentially a hybrid of the two which many times can be adjustable and fine tuned how you want it. We recommend a recirculating blow off valve in most cases, it will support more boost and not leak like the stock unit. Some people want to vent some excess pressure to the atmosphere for the signature blow off valve noise, but too much atmospheric bias can lead to problems with the vehicle running incorrectly.

Q: Tune and springs. Ronin_STi9 years ago
Is a tune required for this bov and does it need any spring changes for different boost settings?

A: A tune will not be required for this blow off valve. This valve is adjustable but should not require additional springs depending on your settings.
