This is a quality product. Sometimes you have to pay for quality, and this is one of those instances. Easy installation. beautiful tip. And best of all, this thing weighs 10 pounds! We're talking a 35 pound weight savings. Almost equal is the added and welcome exhaust tone. It's low and not annoyingly loud or droning.
I've been on the market sometime for a free-flowing cat-back for my X without compromising level of noise and exhaust note. After, going to multiple car shows and meets, hearing the variety of exhaust and listening to plenty of X owners talking about their cat-backs and the performances, I've decided to pull the trigger on the Tomei Ti. A lot of sound clips out there doesn't do much justice to the actual sound of this cat-back. The best description is low, growl, throaty, and smooth. And depending on the RPM drops, a bit raspy. It grows on ya'll after a couple days of driving. The level of noise is great with the OEM cat. I've yet to install a resonated test-pipe to hear the difference between OEM cat and a TP. Looks great, sounds amazing but tolerable for the neighbors with stock cat, opens up real smooth when boost kicks in, amazingly light-weight, high-quality built. Sadly, it seems like Tomei might be discontinuing this catback system for the X. Lets see if they'll come out with a ver.2 rallysportdirect was able to offer it in an amazing price. I wish they had more instock for my X owners. Shipping was quick and fast. Thanks RSDirect.

Q: Tomei Expreme Ti Nick 2 years ago
I've heard that the exhaust is not good to daily, and would start to crack eventually, is this true? Just wondering cause I'm very interested in purchasing.

A: Cracking wouldn't a common issue on this exhaust, construction is super solid. As for daily use, you'll be good as long as you have a tolerance for volume, as this is one of the more aggressive systems that we sell.
