A: You bet, this is a stock location turbo, but I would recommend the Tomei turbo inlet hose to go along with this as the inlet diameter on this turbo is larger than stock. Thanks!

When they say “good for 450hp”, is that crank or wheel hp? How much psi is max?

A: The horsepower would be measured at the crank. The max PSI is not information that is provided to us, but should be somewhere around 1.3 bar.

Q: what are the difference ? darkwave834 years ago
hi, i was wondering what changes they made between the old m8265 and this new model, i have the m8265 now installed its very laggy specially on first gear its kicking full power at 4800 rpm and all other gears at around 4300, i was wondering if this new model have lower spool ? otherwise ill go with the mx7960

A: The biggest changes are an upgraded wastegate actuator and a billet compressor wheel. This will spool better with these changes, although your turbo will typically come on at slightly higher RPMs in lower gears, since the motor is under less load.
