This is ACT's new Mod Twin 225 XT Sprung Street Clutch Kit. This particular clutch kit is ideal for high-horsepower AWD vehicles and unites uncompromised pedal feel, durability, and engagement quality with high-torque capacity. This clutch combines twice the organic friction surfaces with an ultra-durable spring-center mono-drive hub assembly in a completely modular design. Each diaphragm spring endures an exclusive four-stage heat-treating process that provides a consistent light-pedal feel. Other features include puck-style friction plates with high-quality organic friction materials that deliver a high friction coefficient, superior heat capacity, and longer clutch life. The friction plates uniformly transfer torque to a Mono-Drive sprung hub assembly which extends input shaft life and reduces driveline shock from torsional vibration.

In the 5 years I have owned my STI as a daily driver, this clutch kit changes the game. I used to run a 6-puck clutch from ACT and a heavy duty full disc also from ACT before that but this clutch kit is far superior by miles. The pedal effort is almost effortless. For a clutch that has a high torque capacity, it has a lot of slip making it so much easier to drive, especially in stop-go traffic, freeway traffic, and parking lots. The engagement is amazing. Transmission noise is hardly present. Everything is just smooth and buttery with this installed. Its everything you want out of a high torque clutch without the downsides.
