Great bang for buck 10 months ago
    5out of 5stars

Front went in super easy. Installed with Cusco lower bar brace. Set to stiff. Wich there was more info on setting up the adjustable links. The biggest pain was the rear which took me hours in my driveway. If you have the SPT catback prepare yourself. Had to install the links into the control arm first because it's definitely not something that just falls in. Super tight n had to tap them into alignment to get the bolt through then attached the bar. Which leads to the next issue besides zero clearance; tightening the nut to the endlink with a wrench and Allen key. We're most links have a nut on each end of the threads. But anyway once it's in grab a drink n recheck to make sure everything is tight and evenly spaced. Found my rear bar almost 4 inches to one side from finishing half delusional the night before. Much less understeer and easier to throw around!

Best Bang for Your Buck! 1 year ago
    5out of 5stars

This kit is the best value considering it comes with end links and support bracers that other kits don't have. If the parts are bought separately, the total cost exceed the price of this bundle. Installation is a straight forward if done with a hydraulic lift. Otherwise, getting the rear sway bar into the hard setting is difficult due to stiffness of the bar and limited space. For the front sway bar, the hard setting is the hole that is closer to the LONGEST part of the bar. Instructions are not very clear for the front sway bar settings for soft / hard. I was extremely happy I decided to go with this kit because during installation, I noticed both end links were shot and had started to leak. Replacing the end links eliminated a popping sound I used to hear when doing a 180+ degree turns. This popping sound was only noticeable when parking. I have both sway bars set to hardest setting and it does improve body roll. Improvement is NOT night and day (like some claim) but it is definitely noticeable. The car ride felt a bit off because I still had the OEM struts. Once I switched to coilovers, everything finally came together.

    Massive Improvements 2 years ago

As a daily, I didn't want to go too crazy with the setup. This equal sway bar kit has seemingly limited all body roll and makes my car handle in a much more predictable and driveable manner. The 2014 WRX notorious understeer is virtually gone and the ability to wag the tail has been introduced :)

as some of the old reviews said this is how it should come from the factory. it's such a soild ride now. the only problem i would say is adjusting the endinks. need to make sure they are measure correctly before putting them on. i currently have them set on hard in the front and middle in the back. works great for me but each to their own

The Phrase "How it should have come from the factory" is overused but... 3 years ago

This review is for the 22mm Front, 22mm Rear, and F/R endlinks kit (BSK012) Let me start out by saying that if you have a Subaru and are new to suspension modification, a set of sways is probably where you should start. These sway bars really do feel as though they should have come on the car from the factory. Assuming correct assembly, the bars operate completely squeak and clunk free. NVH is effectively no different from stock, even with the stiffer end links. Driving around as normal, you'll be hard pressed to notice a difference from stock, and I mean this in the best of ways. With an otherwise stock suspension layout, this setup does not in any way make the car feel skittish. Even when pressed, this layout doesn't readily produce oversteer. It does, however, dramatically reduce the unersteer inherent in the factory suspension. This is extremely noticeable from mid corner onward, as the car doesn't want to wash wide near as easily as it did with the stock sway bars. Issues: The only one issue I ran into with the kit was related to the rear sway bar mounting braces but it was a little bit of a nuisance. Even with pre-assembly of all the parts, while keeping all fasteners loose, the brace bars refused to sit cleanly against the rear subframe at the lower control arm mount. The only solution, here is to break out the big ratchets and crank everything down. The good news is that all underhead material winds up smashed flat well before the assembly torque is reached. A smaller OD on the lower ends of the braces, or some rounding of the outside edge would go a long way. I'd also caution that the instruction provided with the kit are not spectacular. Much of it is generic and universal, and all of it was most likely printed using a teletype. Keep an internet connected device handy, however, and you should be able to answer any questions which come up.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: Front Endlink questions  Drink2mny8 months ago

I just installed this kit in my 2011 WRX. Couldn't have been any easier. I am waiting on spring time to put my low profiles on to dial these in. So for now I think I have them setup correctly. Question is, the passenger side front endlink looks like it has a pretty good angle to it with suspension at full droop. Should I install the spacer on the top to straighten these out or is this acceptable. Sorry for no photo.

Is there an option on this kit for bigger sway bars? I was looking into the 25mm bars.

Are the bushings in this set grease-less?
