Features & Product Details

Cusco is one of the pioneering companies based out of Japan that has invested countless hours of research, design, and engineering to develop quality suspension and performance products that will improve your driving experience. Some of the fasted cars around the world who compete in time attack, time trials, and other racing avenues will more than likely have a Cusco product on their car.

On this page, you are viewing the Cusco 26mm Front Sway Bar. Sway bars are one of the most effective suspension modifications you can perform to your vehicle to improve both handling, and driver feedback. If you participate in high-performance driving conditions such as auto-x, or if you participate in weekend track days then sway bars are a must-have modification. However, upgraded sway bars are also great for street driving and spirited canon runs as they reduce body roll.

This sway bar will come powder-coated in Cusco's flagship blue color, and it will come provided with size-specific bushings to make this sway bar ready for the installation.

This bar has a beautiful finish and I love that it’s not an adjustable length. I have a Whiteline adjustable rear bar and it’s just been a hassle trying to get endlinks to reach. I’ll be swapping my rear to a Cusco also

  • Q: Swaybar neutral bias  evaradar3 years ago

So coming back to my original question that I posted, and thanks to Nick S for answering it. A sway bar neutral bias is attained with the front and rear sway bar being the same size?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  That can be a tricky thing to find, for most Subaru models the swaybars are similar in width and mounting from front to rear but on some vehicles where one bar is mounted further inwards on control arms than another leverage is greatly reduced requiring a thicker bar to equate to a bar that is similar. Running the same bar front to rear is not perfectly the same bias, but it will be close for Subaru models with how they mount to the control arms/lateral links.

  • Q: Pros/cons of a 26mm rear sway bar?  evaradar3 years ago

Just wanted to know what's the added advantage of having a 26mm rear sway bar vs the 22mm to 24mm size? Any disadvantages to it as well? Or would the car be perfect, if there's a 26mm front and rear sway bar to counteract understeer & oversteer?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Swaybar thickness determines how effective the bar is at reducing bodyroll. The thicker the bar the stiffer it will be. There can be a downside to too stiff of a bar not being as responsive as it should and this effect can come from both the swaybar or having too stiff of a swaybar matched up to stiff coilovers or springs as well. A lot of swaybar thicknesses can depend on the rest of the vehicle setup as well as personal preference and whether or not the user prefers oversteer, understeer, or a bit more of a neutral bias.

  • Q: End Links  tmyers823 years ago

What end links are recommended for this front sway bar on a 2015 WRX?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The only options we have available at this time are rear endlinks for the 2015-2016 models.
