Awesome Kit!
seth.carpenter031843 11 months ago
I have had this kit now for almost 3 years. I did not buy the front and rear at the same time, but seeing as I have both I'll just do the review on this page. First of all the install is really not hard at all. If you can turn a wrench and have a few tools, it should be no problem. Take your time and use the proper safety equipment. DO NOT use only a jack to hold the car up!! If that is all you have take the car to a shop and have them do it. The quality of the product is awesome! I did however need a replacement rear endlink after 2 1/2 years, but RSD and Whiteline were both awesome and got me taken care of. Like any aftermarket part, if you don't install them properly you can have issues. So here are a few tips from my personal experience. 1. The rear end links need to be pulled apart and put back together using anti seize. Take the bottom and top end off, remember the bottom is reverse thread, bottom being the end that connects to the lower control arm. Once you have done that, put them back together not locking the center yellow nut down. Leave it so you can twist the top and bottom. 2. The newest sets now need a 5mm allen key to secure it to the sway bar. You will also need a 14mm ratcheting wrench if you want this to go faster. Place 2 of the 4 washers it comes with on the top portion that connects to the rear sway bar, one on each side of the bar, then proceed to tighten down the nut. The nut is smashed from the factory so it won't back off. This used to be an issue that no should be fixed! 3. Now that the top portion is connected to the sway bar, use the center nut to move the lower portion into the holes on the lower control arm. Once that is done slide the new bolt provided by Whiteline and crank it down. 4. Once you have those 3 steps done, adjust the center nut to your desired position. You can make it long or short. To be honest I really have no idea how to set the tension up properly. Talk to a pro racer or someone like that. But for these, all you need to do is tighten down the top lock nut that is closest to the sway bar. Leave the lower one free so it can twist. Because the lower control arm only moves up and down, you should have little to no twisting. However it can twist just a little, and that is enough to break the threaded portion off after a few years of winter and just use. This way of installing it should keep that from happening. So ya, that's my little tip! This setup is awesome for my car! Made my car handle like a dream! As for the quality of the product and if I'm happy with it? Well lets just say Whiteline is the only product I have used on my car and the will continue to be the only one I use. Great customer service and awesome quality is all you can really ask for when it comes to after market parts. RSD and Whiteline have provided both great customer service and great products. You can't go wrong with this setup.

  • Q: front endlinks don't fit 08WRX?  jnas 9 months ago

    Answer

The kit says it's a kit that fits an 08 wrx sedan, but the front endlinks aren't compatible with an 08 WRX sedan. Why?

    • A: Great question! Looks like we have to update our website since those do actually fit the 08 wrx. Hopefully this clears up any confusion and have a great day!
