TEIN Silencer Rubber can be effectively used to eliminate/reduce the noise caused by coil slap (when springs coils hit each other). The rubber sleeves simply slide over the spring coil to cushion the impact, and thus reduce any noises that may occur. The inexpensive Silencer Rubber is offered in three sizes to fit various applications.
Note that these are for the 130mm diameter springs.
Sold as a pair.

Perfect replacement for the worn out gray silencers found on STI Pink Springs. These made the noises go right away. Install is straight forward and they come lined with adhesive. I used 2 pieces of the 130mm silencers per spring.
I installed H&R sport springs on my MK7 GTI and initially I did not have any issues. After some time, as the springs settled I began to get various creaks and pings as I turned the steering wheel at a standstill or very slow speeds. After installing these Tein silencers, all noises have disappeared. Installation was a breeze and I didn't even need to remove the wheels. I ordered 2 sets as I thought I might need to isolate various coils but just silencers on the middle of the dead coils solved the noise issue.
