I needed to upgrade my line with my new calipers so I decided to spend a little extra for the SS lines. Installation was straight forward as can be, came with hardware and copper washers, and bleeder caps. Having these has noticeably taken away the common mushy brakes you can get in Subarus. All in all totally worth around $60.

Fitment on the Forester was spot on (there are no Forester part #, only for WRX), but the forums said they would fit and they did, with no zip ties or modifications needed. Braking has returned, even after long hot drives, they remain consistent. I purchased these along with Slotted Rotors, PosiQuiet Pads and ATE fluid.

Replaced my front and rear with these. To be honest, they feel kind of cheap in hand. But they seem to be doing the job well. New pads, rotors, lines, and a flush with ATE Typ 200, and I can feel a difference. I don't think it's extremely noticeable. But I'm more confident in these than my stocks.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: Specifications   JordanR2 years ago

How long are these lines? And, what angle is the banjo fitting bend (usually either 20° or 45°)?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Honestly I'm not sure of the exact length as they are OE replacement so length is not usually a concern unless you're lifting the car. However the banjo fittings should be at a 20 degree bend. Thanks.

    • Q: brake lines  sprint200mm830023 years ago

If i am adding sti front brembo brakes, to my 2005 wrx, should i purchase these STI/4 pot lines? Or the lines specific to my 2005 wrx.
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We cannot guarantee fitment with calipers from another car. But the lines made for your specific vehicle should work.

    • Q: 2004 STI  SalLV4 years ago

Does the STI already come with steel lines or are they rubber like the WRX?
      • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The STI would be rubber lines from the factory, and these would be a very nice upgrade vs OEM

    • Q: Red 4 pots on 03' WRX  Crazykev8 years ago

I have upgraded to 06'-07' red 4 pot calipers on my 03' WRX and want to know if I should order these lines made for the 06'-07' WRX for my car or the Stoptech lines for the 03' WRX fitment?
      • 1 of 2 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We cannot guarantee fitment with calipers from a different vehicle, but the 2006-2007 WRX lines should be a better choice if you are using 4 pot calipers.
