Keeps wheel at same distance as stock!

I purchased this hub for the build and known fact that it will work with my '02 WRX. Everything worked well on its part. I was able to easily get it mounted and setup. The SRS resistor fits great but did tape it just to be safe. The horn adapter did not fit my WRX (I've owned mine since '02 and have run into many one-offs on my car so I can not say that the adapter will not fit for all '02s). I was able to adapt the harness to work. I did have a slight issue with the hub as the Momo Eagle wheel I was installing and the hub did not have a horn retention ring to keep the horn from being pushed into the hub. Luckily as I was installing the wheel on the hub all the wiring inside the hub was very full acting as a backstop for the horn. So I was able to use the horn with no added hardware.

Installed this piece on my 2004 STI with the Splash RAPFIX as well. Couldn't be happier about the fit, finish and styling of this piece. It truly carries with it a near OEM look, and the ease of install was better than OEM. Wouldn't recommend anything else having installed this!!!
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

This comes with the resistor to keep the air bag light off, correct? What else is needed after the relay is connected, or is it just plug in and it's all set?
A: This comes with a SRS Airbag Harness Connector , not a resistor to keep the light off. You will want to look into part SPL XPSB-H+

Q: Quick release coffee_time_1199351 2 years agoAnswer
Will the nrg quick release bolt up to it
A: Due to this being a universal product, it's not designed specifically to any brand/design of steering wheel. We have not test fitted this hub with an NRG and at this time cannot confirm fitment.

Q: Fitment confirmation DaneSTi 3 years agoAnswer
just wanted to confirm fitment for my Australian delivered 06 Sti? I assume this product allows me to keep my clock spring? Will this adapt to my Sparco quick release or can I get the bolt pattern measurements to check?
A: This adapter can be used with the Sparco quick release, and you can retain the clock spring. There should be no problem fitting this to your Australian STI, but we cannot guarantee fitment on cars outside the USA

Q: Control Function jburton 5 years agoAnswer
Will this hub allow the retention of the turnsignal/wiper controls as well?
A: The steering column is left untouched forward of the clock spring so it will retain turn signal and wiper controls. Removal of the airbag and any other electronics on the steering will is required.
