It ended up taking me five hours to install, but that included doing the transmission mount and mount bushings along with cleaning/treating the undercarriage and every part I took off. I've got an alignment scheduled for tomorrow. The control arms didn't seem that much lighter than the stock ones but the bushings on it were a definite upgrade (They were lighter but I didn't weigh them). It took me a while to get the pro-lift portion installed as it will only install one way and they don't make that obvious. Basically the sticker has to be facing upwards (brooklynzillist72662 mentioned this and I realized it after reading his comment). Overall the suspension feels softer but at the same time I feel the road better than before. There is still under-steer, which hopefully will be corrected by the alignment. -2 camber in the front, max caster, -1.5-1.8 camber in the rear (I have wider than normal tires and need max camber in the rear to clear since I don't want to roll the fenders) and 0 toe all around are my intentions. As far as the group-n transmission mount and super pro bushings are concerned, shifting is much improved but there hasn't been any additional NVH to contend with. It is worth doing these while you're at it honestly. At least the mount bushings, they're cheap. Overall the front end seems quieter and much nicer overall. City driving is much improved. While I still feel the bumps (better than before actually), they don't jar the front end and wheel like they used to. There is no reason not to install these parts if one is worried about NVH. If you're going to do an ALK anyway, just go ahead and buy this. Oh and the packaging still sucks. I'm not sure how they haven't corrected that, unless they just have a lot of stock and don't want to.
When I got the package I was a little disappointed on how flimsy it was and how poor everything was packed. For the price I payed I expected exceptional presentation and quality. I wish it came with the ball joint too for the price but whatever. The installation was pretty straight forward except for the fact that the anti lift can only be installed with the lhd,rhd stickers at the top in order to sit correctly. My bolts didn't want to go in straight but I got them in. Overall I give this product a 8/10 due to the weight reduction and eye appeal. The bushings are clutch and the grease keeps everything quite. If this came with the ball joints and better packaging I would gladly rate them 10/10.
Install wasn't an issue, packaging was a little crappy. But over all the product looks and drives great.

Q: Fitment? Wannabe STi3 years ago
Would this fit an '04 FXT? I know many of the WRX/STi parts do, just looking for a quality upgrade from the old stock components.

A: While technically not a direct replacement and we and Super Pro do not confirm fitment, you can make it work for sure. Hope this helps. Thanks

Q: Caster breadleyuhlig156667 years ago
Do these add caster on 04-06 sti or only 07? the 07 are 1.5 less from factory

A: The arms themselves do not add caster on the '04-'06 cars as the geometry on the SuperPro arms is identical. That being the case there is additional caster to be had fitting this kit to a USDM '07 car. From the factory the rear bushing assembly is fitted in the bracket to maximize anti-lift geometry, however the bushing insert can be pressed out and refitted to introduce additional caster.

Q: 2006 2.5I Fitment DJDeanis7 years ago
Any reason why these don't fit the 2006 2.5i? All the research I've done state that they should be a direct fit, is it because the alignment won't be within OEM spec?

A: We have not tested these to fit with NA models, they may fit but we do not have a guarantee.

Q: 2004 WRX Impreza Wagon ciofx578 years ago
Are these control arms a direct replacement on a 2004 WRX wagon?

A: No - while no permanent modifications or fabrication need to be done - the STI and WRX sedan models have a wider track than the wagons. When using these control arms on a wagon we recommend a sedan front sway bar; or has some have mentioned below you can put together your own spacer solution to continue using your current front bar. A wheel alignment is required after installation.
