Features & Product Details

DENSOs Iridium Long Life plug is fast becoming the standard for today’s high-tech engines. The properties of DENSOs patented Iridium alloy have broken through the spark plug technology barrier. Employing a revolutionary new 360 laser welding process, DENSO has created a spark plug unlike anything on the market today. Designed for durability under the most extreme conditions, DENSOs patented Iridium alloy is six times harder and eight times stronger than conventional platinum and can handle temperatures in excess of 4,000F.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

  • Q: Plugs  Mharris85 4 months ago

I run mostly e70 and am about 120 hp over stock but with the ethonal is running colder plugs as important or less recomeded due to the detonation resistance
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  I'd recommend checking with your tuner to see what they recommend, but you'd likely still see a small benefit from the step colder plugs if you're running that much power over stock.

i have a 08 wrx sedan with sf cobb intake invidia downpipe invidia n1 exhaust cobb accessport running stage 2+ 93 on cobb.. do u recommend me putting in theses spark plugs or ?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Stock heat range spark plugs are recommended for your setup, and colder plugs are recommended once you reach about 100whp over stock.

  • Q: spark plugs  scoots08STi4 years ago

I have 08 sti cobb sf intake invidia catted dp invidia q300 catback, grimmspeed aos, cobb bpv invidia uppipe. would you recommend these or staying with stock heat?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  I recommend sticking with the stock heat range plugs. The rule of thumb is for every 100 HP over stock, you want to run a one step colder plug.

  • Q: spark plugs  glownthdrkninja4 years ago

I have a 09 wrx stage 2. Do I have to gap these spark plugs? If so to what size?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These plugs are gapped at .032 from Denso, but it is always a good idea to double check the gap before installation.

i have 2011 wrx with 365 hp wich sparks plug a you recommended for that
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  One step colder may be beneficial for your setup, but we recommend consulting your tuner for that information because in some cases stock heat range can still be optimal for that power.
