This is the SMY Rear End Power Brace Bar. This is a suspension and chassis upgrade that has been designed to improve the handling and suspension feedback during high-performance driving conditions. For example when approaching a high-speed corner in an autocross event or if you are entering an "S" curve, you will get hard on your brakes and as you turn the weight of your vehicle will shift hard to the other side. Chassis reinforcement bars whether installed on the front or rear of your vehicle stiffen the chassis so that your suspension won't absorb a violent shift in weight. Rather you will have a more uniform and organized approach that will make the most out of your tire footprint because your suspension isn't fighting so hard against lateral forces.
