I want to get my 07 Impreza 2.5i tuned and I was just curious as to how much power I should go to on the OEM clutch.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Exedy doesnt rate this clutch for any specific torque. This is an OEM style replacement clutch and is intended for a WRX that is close to stock power levels.

  • Q: Exedy OEM Replacement Clutch Kit break-in  Chris3 years ago

Is there any type of break-in period for this clutch kit and if the answer is yes, what do you recommend?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Manufacturers recommend a 300-400 Break In Period, which will require stop and go driving. Highway miles do not count, as the clutch is not being engaged/disengaged.

  • Q: CC stage 2 flywheel fit?  forrest.mcilwain421803 years ago

I currently have a Competition Clutch Stage 2 kit on my car (2006 WRX). This kit came with a lightweight flywheel. Will the CC stage 2 flywheel fit with this clutch kit?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This kit will not fit with the Competition Clutch flywheel for 06+ WRX models because Competition Clutch does not use a stock size flywheel for that application.

  • Q: Forester in Australia  Matthew P4 years ago

What are the Exedy part numbers for the clutch disc & clutch cover? I am trying to work out if this will fit my 2007 Forester XT Limited 5MT with EJ255.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Exedy does not publish the part numbers for individual components in this kit because they are not available separately. The only information Exedy publishes is the disc is 230mm with 24 splines. This should work on your car and a new flywheel may be necessary.

  • Q: flywheel  cking13175 years ago

For my 08 wrx what flywheel is compatible with this clutch?
  • Q: With Flywheel?   dougf12271795 years ago

Do you recommend replacing the flywheel also? My 08 wrx has 102k miles on the original clutch. Will a lightweight flywheel throw a CEL? Thanks.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  If you have a lightweight flywheel and lightweight crank pulley there is a chance of throwing a check engine light, but usually with just a lightweight flywheel you will not have any issues. Replacing your flywheel is not required, but while you have everything out having the factory unit resurfaced is strongly recommended at the very least if possible.

  • Q: 08 WRX Fitment  Bruce6 years ago

Will this clutch fit the 08 WRX without any issues ?
  • Q: flywheel compatible  Fazgt6 years ago

can this clutch be use with act streetlite flywheel ?
  • Q: Torque??  11WRX7 years ago

What is the torque capacity for this clutch? Any idea on the average mileage range (ballpark) for a stock daily driver before replacement is needed?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This clutch is the OEM Spec, so the power holding would be the same as the stock clutch. As for how long it last, well that is 100% up to the driver. We have seen them last under 5K miles when driven hard, and also have seen customers have them last well over 100K when driven normally.
