  • Q: Stage 2 vs stage 3  travelguy2k1 year ago

I currently have the stage 3 dual friction. This clutch should hold my power. Is it the same pressure plate as the stage 3 or will this be a little lighter on pedal pressure?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This will have a lighter pedal feel and is not the same pressure plate as the stage 3.

  • Q: Clutch and flywheel   Hawkeye07STI1 year ago

Will this clutch work with the stock flywheel?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Yes this clutch will work with stock flywheel but, you'll need to resurface the flywheel for proper wear. If it has already be resurfaced before then we suggest a new flywheel.

  • Q: Looking to upgrade from stock clutch kit. Stage 2 cobb will eventually look for more power. It's my DAILY   05 sti 68k 2 years ago

Would it be best to go toward a stage 2 clutch kit. It's my DAILY do like doing pulls here and there. Car will hopefully be getting more upgrades, injectors fuel pump ect. Want to do clutch and fly wheel. Need help on what to choose thanks!
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This would be a great choice for your daily driver. Keep in mind that no matter what clutch kit you choose, when you move up in staged clutches it will get heavier on the clutch pedal. Personally I think this is a perfect daily driver.

  • Q: Competition clutch stage 2  Racmatkirov3 years ago

Hi this competition stage 2 can fit my subaru sti 2007 ? Can it hold up to 400 hp? Can it be daily driven
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Yes this will fit your 2007 STI. As far as the HP rating this clutch will hold up to 425 ft/lbs at the wheels, many people do daily drive their vehicles using this clutch. Being that it is upgraded it will be a bit more noisy than OEM.

  • Q: No Mods   andrewmjsinko5 years ago

2011 STI is all stock. My clutch is garbage right now, and I'm looking for a clutch that will give me more power and reliability. Can I put this on my STI even though I do not have any other mods and computer remapping?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You can put this clutch in if you would like! no tuning or supporting modifications needed.

  • Q: well it hold?  mgate015 years ago

I have read some reviews on some of the subie forums about this clutch. The specs look good but a lot of the reviews are bad.. slipping at the high end! I'm about 400 lbs at the wheels, the exedy has the best reviews but it seems like itmay be too much. How Will the pedal feel with the exedy hd clutch compared to the oem clutch well it be a comfortable daily driver and what about this clutch
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This clutch kit pedal feel will be similar to OEM, but slightly stiffer on both engagement and disengagement. The pedal feel with the Exedy Stage 1 HD will be overall stiffer than this kit.

do you suggest i upgrade the flywheel along with this?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It is not necessary to upgrade the flywheel, but I recommend going with a lightweight flywheel for faster revving, better throttle response and better all around efficiency.

Is the brass plus friction material on this clutch an organic material or is it kevlar based?
