  • Q: Flywheel  TCSTi2 years ago

If I'm moving from a exedy twin-disc to a single disc, do I need to replace the flywheel as well?
  • Q: Will it fit a 2010 wrx with 05 STI tranny and outfront short block ? , I'm shooting for 600 whp , can it handle that ?  Jaxracer3 years ago

A:  This will work with the 2005 sti transmission, however the specs are 550 ft/lbs at the wheels. A stronger clutch might be in your best interest.

  • Q: Quality?   kewl_nate304625 years ago

Anyone give feed back on the clutch as it looks and feels when installing I can read good reviews about it but the clutch disc it self doesn't look tough. I've only used exzedy so just wondering on this new brand.

A:  We do not have any personal experience with this particular kit, but we receive great feedback on all the Competition Clutch kits and strength is not a concern.

  • Q: How much torque/horsepower  Arcken5 years ago

How much torque/horsepower the stock clutch pressure plate can hold? And if this is suitable for a street driven sti with turbo upgrade in mind, the ARMS 8260. I am shooting for the 400Whp mark or close.

A:  This clutch is rated at 550ft/lbs at the wheels. 6 puck clutches are typically a little bit more difficult to drive on the street than a standard organic disc, but it depends on the preferences of the user.
