Q: 6 puck vs comp clutch twin disk philiprolle318077 years ago
I'm in the middle of a build and I'm torn between clutches. I'll be around the 600tq range and need to have something that's going to hold but be ok for daily driving, I know the pedal will be stiffer either way I go but would the twin disk be less of a workout, and stronger than the 6 puck

A: Both of the clutches you mentioned are going to be aggressive for daily driving. This ACT clutch has a higher torque rating and will possibly have a stiffer pedal.

Will this clutch make it harder to shift? i am a beggar looking for help

following answer helpful
A: Engagement on a 6 puck clutch is going to be much more harsh than factory. The clutch will have a heavier pressure plate and while starting from a stop you will experience chatter. Once moving it shouldn't be much more difficult to engage but the pedal will be stiffer.

Q: Capable of the clutch kit De'LuqmaNuralya789 years ago
1)Does this clutch kit can handle 500+hp/700+lb-ft torque, daily driving&weekend street-drag sti? 2)DOes this clutchkit can match with other flywheel, for example Fidanza/eClutchmaster/OEM/etc with a 240mm diameter?

A: The torque capacity is 725ft/lbs at the crank. In terms of handling the power, it simply depends on how aggressive you are with the car and how often you are drag racing it. In terms of fitment, as long as the flywheel used in the car is OEM spec and works with OEM clutches then it will work with this ACT unit.
