Great quality item, install can be tricky

This is a great looking piece that really adds something to the 86 interior. Installation can be difficult, however without the proper tools. The pin holding the lockout in place is very hard to remove so I recommend using a 3/8 punch tool and a hammer. I was very hesitant to hammer away at my shifter but with the right size punch and a few good blows while in 3rs gear, the pin pops out. Leave the punch in and shift the car into reverse so the cable doesn't drop. Then installing the new lever is as easy as putting on the new one and sliding the pin back in.
