QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

  • Q: cold air  SubiKing4 years ago

Is this a cold air intake? If not what is the difference?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This is a Short Ram Intake. The major difference is a cold air intake will have the filter element relocated outside of the engine bay, and will have longer piping material.

  • Q: Tune  jsawyer6 years ago

Is a tune of any sort required to properly run this intake?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  K&N states that tuning is not required to run this. Just be sure to check your vehicles operation after install to ensure safe running of the motor. As we have seen almost any intake require a tune on 2008+ cars
