Improve the breathing and airflow to your turbocharger with the COBB Tuning Short Ram SF Intake System. This is a direct replacement for your factory restrictive airbox which allows the turbocharger to inhale clean air more effectively that results in more horsepower, more torque, and you will have improved throttle response and reduced turbo lag.
This intake uses a CFD-designed velocity stack leading to a unique air flow straightener grid. This grid is specifically designed to smooth out the incoming air charge before it passes through the mass air flow sensor for precise readings which eliminates inherent dead spots that are common in other aftermarket intake systems created by turbulence.
Everything will be included with this intake to make it ready for installation. This includes the hoses, clamps, as well as the hardware. Please note that COBB Tuning does not yet offer Off-The-Shelf maps for the Legacy GT SF Intake. Custom self-tuning using AccessTUNER Race or professional dyno tuning is required for this intake.

Overall I would love to actually rate this product as 5 stars. But actually I was somewhere between 3 and 4. Given my past with COBB, I chose to rate this as a 4. The install was easy. Everything was simple and it took maybe 10 minutes to put it in. However, the issue came almost immediately afterwards. I installed a Tomioka turbo inlet tube, and once mated with this intake, it was an extremely tight squeeze. So much that had I purchased the COBB air box, it would have never fit. The air filter is actually pushed directly up against the inside frame of the car. The filter was bent a bit by this action, but I had no other choice. Would I buy this again? Definitely. My car breathes so much better and even with the tight squeeze, I do love the design. I would like to see COBB maybe shave an inch or so off the hose. It would then fit a lot easier with other upgrades. Thanks RSD for the excellent service as always!
After install product product through codes. Cobb still doesn't offer any maps for the 07' legacy gt's access port. The only way for this to work is to a professionally dyno done for around $200 which seems pointless unless you are tuning it with more hp gain modds such as turbo or an upgraded tmic.
Easy to install and fit perfectly in my 08 LGT. Lot more intake and wastegate sound now. =) I also got the COBB air box with it. The air box is a little overpriced for what you're getting but it's the only way to keep some of the hot air out and keep the stock intake funnel that ducts the cold air from the front.
Easier to install that the stock one was to remove. Everything fit perfectly into place and took less than an hour to do. I recommend to buy the air box with it to prevent the intake sucking in hot air right beside the motor. It also makes a difference in the throttle response. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
