I have a 2013 Subaru Legacy 3.6R Limited with the H6 3660CC motor, and I could not find a fabricated intake with the MFA for my engine, until I found this one! It was SUPER easy to install, just a few screws and bolts, but the sound this thing makes is ASTOUNDING! I have a full header-back exhaust system on my car as well, combined with the Takeda intake, and my car sounds like it should be on a European road coarse! I haven't really noticed any power increase, although the gas feels much more responsive now.
This thing is fantastic! Just simply wonderful! The 3.6 engine already had a wonderful sound, but you couldn't hear any intake sound. This makes the engine have a beautiful low growl and the higher the RPM, the more rich the sound. Fuel economy has increased about 1.5-2mpg which is cool (so you can convince your wife it will pay for itself). I'm not sure if this really adds the claimed 10+ hp, but I couldn't care less. The sound alone is enough to make this worth the cost. In normal every day driving, you will only slightly notice a deeper growl around 3,000 RPM, but after 3,000 RPM and up it sounds just insane! I should have purchased this 20,000 miles ago.
