The aFe Takeda Intake has been designed to provide a gain of 15HP, and 14ft lbs of extra torque over the highly restrictive OEM intake. This is achieved through a meticulous design which allows the turbocharger to inhale more air, which allows increased throttle response and gains throughout the entire powerband.
This intake uses a large 360 degree high flow Pro Dry air filter for maximum flow and filtration. The Pro Dry filter does not requires any oiling, and is serviceable by simply using soap, and water.
Also included in the intake is a one piece powder-coated housing that has been designed to fit with a portion of the factory airbox to protect the filter from unwanted heat produced by the engine. All hardware is supplied with this intake for a ready installation.

This thing is fantastic! Just simply wonderful! The 3.6 engine already had a wonderful sound, but you couldn't hear any intake sound. This makes the engine have a beautiful low growl and the higher the RPM, the more rich the sound. Fuel economy has increased about 1.5-2mpg which is cool (so you can convince your wife it will pay for itself). I'm not sure if this really adds the claimed 10+ hp, but I couldn't care less. The sound alone is enough to make this worth the cost. In normal every day driving, you will only slightly notice a deeper growl around 3,000 RPM, but after 3,000 RPM and up it sounds just insane! I should have purchased this 20,000 miles ago.
