QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q: Evo 10 Evoxswall2 years agoTrying to install this on my Braum seats and the extra seat belt mount keeps hitting the reclining mechanism. Why are there two seat belt mounts on the passenger and not one like the driver (as the driver installed fine with only one mount)?

A: The passenger bracket has a seat belt tab on the outboard side as well as the inboard side because (unlike the driver side) the outboard side of the factory seat belt attaches to the seat, rather then the B-pillar of the car. When you pull out the factory seat you lose this mounting point so Planted provides it on the bracket to give you a place to mount your stock belt. In some cases a seat may be too wide so bending the tabs an option. It is also common to remove the inboard adjustment knob on a reclinable seat to make the seat narrower. If you are not utilizing the stock belts it is also ok to remove the seat belt tabs by cutting them off. This will not compromise the strength of the bracket.
