Description
When doing any work that gives you access to the rear main seal it might not be a bad idea to replace it. Using a Subaru OEM seal gives you that peace of mind that you used a quality part.
This is the OEM Subaru Crankshaft Rear Main Seal. If your engine is out and on an engine stand, please do yourself a favor and make sure your rear main seal is not leaking. If your rear main is leaking you have to remove your transmission to get access to this seal and it can leak oil on your clutch which can cause it to slip. If it is leaking, you can trust the quality of OEM components to get you back on the road.
Sold individually.

Replaced my stock one with this during a re-clutch/flywheel. Everything was just as it should be.
Fits like OEM... cause it is

I didn't watch them put it in but figured it was a good idea to change at the same time as my street light fly wheel and Exedy stage 1 HD install. Was not charged anything extra to put it in so i would definately recommend changing when doing a cluch replacement.

Answeris this the seal on the crankshaft behind the flywheel? I figure I should change it while I have the flywheel off, but I am not sure if this is the right part.
