Features & Product Details

RallySport Direct carries a large selection of the Mishimoto X-Line Performance Aluminum Radiator to not only improve the cooling efficiency of your vehicle but to also make for an excellent upgrade over your factory unit.

Here are the key features:

  • Full aluminum construction provides increased heat and pressure tolerance, improved heat dissipation, increased durability and improved cooling efficiency
  • 3-row core
  • Manufactured with TIG-welded end tanks for improved strength and extended service
  • 100% brazed aluminum core for maximum reliability
  • Increased coolant capacity directly results in improved cooling efficiency
  • Included 1.3 BAR radiator cap raises the boiling point of engine coolant to provide a safer and more efficient system
  • Designed to original equipment specifications
  • Designed for manual transmission models
  • Please note: The radiator cap provided with this particular radiator should replace the stock cap that is located n the expansion tank. Your factory issued/stock radiator cap should be the one used on the Mishimoto Radiator. The Mishimoto radiator cap is a two-way valve, and when compared to the stock single valve, there is a difference in construction, and cannot be used on the radiator. If you try to use the provided Mishimoto cap on the radiator, then you risk overheating.

Upper radiator hose may require trimming for proper clearance.

Great kit. Easy to install. Super high quality stuff. Only issue was that the stock overflow hose wouldn't reach on my 07 wrx but a quick run to the parts store for a little hose and problem solved.

Needed trimming on both upper and lower rad hoses. Lower rad hose (mishimoto silicon) does touch the rad fan shroud (might be caused due to the way I trimmed) so I'll have to keep an eye on it. I've used OEM and Koyo rads before and this one seems to be able to maintain temps with more ease.

This radiator is amazing but because of how thick it is its tricky to place hoses back without it rubbing

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: Difference between both Mishimoto’s   Justin_Ranes5 months ago

What’s the difference between this one and the other mishimoto for $290 I noticed the thickness (depth) is thicker on this one. Is that it?
    • Q: Filler Neck Size / Radiator Cap Bar Recommended  jwo5021 year ago

What is the filler neck size? And also what is the recommend bar for the radiator cap to purchase?
      • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You will want to put the radiator cap that comes with this radiator on the expansion tank and then use the oem bar rated cap on the radiator, I want to say it is a 1.1 bar but can not confirm at this time.

    • Q: Fans  alanm_43 years ago

Right now im running a Subaru fan and some other fan. I was wondering what size fan and which u recomend i should get for it
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Fan choice will come down to the cooling power needed. Most applications can run a 12" fan setup just fine, while those needing more protection will go with a 14".

    • Q: Auto WRX  Darkendays4884715 years ago

I have a automatic WRX, would this mount in the same position as the stock radiator? I would be using a exterior cooler for the transmission. Thanks
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Yes it would mount the same as stock, only difference is that it would not have ports for the transmission cooler.
