Description

RallySport Direct carries a large selection of the Mishimoto X-Line Performance Aluminum Radiator to not only improve the cooling efficiency of your vehicle but to also make for an excellent upgrade over your factory unit.

Here are the key features:

  • Full aluminum construction provides increased heat and pressure tolerance, improved heat dissipation, increased durability and improved cooling efficiency
  • 3-row core
  • Manufactured with TIG-welded end tanks for improved strength and extended service
  • 100% brazed aluminum core for maximum reliability
  • Increased coolant capacity directly results in improved cooling efficiency
  • Included 1.3 BAR radiator cap raises the boiling point of engine coolant to provide a safer and more efficient system
  • Designed to original equipment specifications
  • Designed for manual transmission models

Please note: The radiator cap provided with this particular radiator should replace the stock cap that is located n the expansion tank. Your factory issued/stock radiator cap should be the one used on the Mishimoto Radiator. The Mishimoto radiator cap is a two-way valve, and when compared to the stock single valve, there is a difference in construction, and cannot be used on the radiator. If you try to use the provided Mishimoto cap on the radiator, then you risk overheating.

Upper radiator hose may require trimming for proper clearance.

Time for an upgrade
savage 3 months ago
Bought this for my 09 STi needed to do my timing belt maint so decided to upgrade the rad. The only thing that i dont like is the coolant overflow tank is hitting a part of the engine. All in all it does what its meant to do.

Mishomoto Radiator X-Line
_STI 2 years ago
This radiator is awesome!! Bought these to keep the car cool as much as possible under heavy driving condition. My car is running between 184F and when pushed hard it goes up to 189F. This radiator is a nice piece to have on your car. Installation wasnt bad at all everything fits like OEM just little flush but nothing is touching. I got this radiator with the perrin hoses and its working top notch. The only problem that I kept having with this radiator was the cap. It seems that the cap was not making a proper seal and therefore I had leaks. I took the radiator cap off and replaced it with new and all is working fine. Please pay attention to these new radiator caps from Mishomoto. Overall Im happy with this radiator and is all worth it.

I think in the description you’re suppose to use the stock cap on the radiator and the mishimoto cap on the expansion tank. Correct me if im wrong.

Tight fit!
Wrex 2 years ago
Functions great, looks better! Had to do a little trimming of original tubing, but otherwise it fit well (although VERY snug). I've had it installed for a few weeks, and coolant numbers are phenomenal; even at 100-120mph for a few hours. The only issue I had was getting one to ship through UPS without getting dented all to hell.

New radiator...Day 1...
anomaly 2 years ago
Temps are great. day after bringing her home noticed random coolant spots and was thinking "that's weird my shop wouldn't usually leave things messy".Wipe it up, take a drive, check again... new spots. Repeat for a day, zero in on location as left upper support bar weld. Seems to be dripping over the front of the rad and being pulled intk the fan and sprayed all over my engine bay. Fun. Working on warranty replacement now. Slow leak but enough to prevent me from my tracl say this Thursday. Guess thats my fault for not allowing more than a weeks lead time for mods.

  • Q: install  ryanbyrne42030696 4 years ago

    Answer

Will I need knew hoses for this or will stock fit?

    • A: Your OEM hoses will work however, since the core is slightly thicker, you may need to do some slight trimming.

  • Q: Any fan shroud modification?   TuruSTI 4 years ago

    Answer

i recently bought this radiator and i have a perrin front mount intercooler and the intercooler pipe that goes from the compressor to the intercooler looks very close to the fans with the oem radiator. do i need to buy the mishimoto fan shroud?

    • A: This core is thicker than stock and the fans will be mounted slightly closer to the engine. The Mishimoto fan shroud is usually not necessary, but it may be required for FMIC piping. You can usually re-position the piping to provide more clearance.
