Suspension time!
Père Foura 2 years ago
I bought these for my track GC8, i'm currently using HSD coilover and the spring rates was too low for my use. The quality of the spring is amazing, paint is very durable. I did not dyno tested, them but I'm pretty sure the linearity is good since Tein is a good brand! I recommend for sure if you want to upgrade your spring rates, but pay less than a pair of Swift springs!

  • Q: Tein street basis  gimp442 2 years ago

    Answer

I am currently running the Tein street basis coil overs , I was wondering g if these springs were compatible with those coil-overs?

    • A: You will want to verify this is the correct spring for your setup, Tein has a variety of different inner and outer diameter springs. Valving may also have to be adjusted on the strut to set it up for the particular spring you switch to.

  • Q: Tein Control Master Type Flex  iridetahoe 3 years ago

    Answer

I got a set of used control master type flex's and they came with some different springs that look to be thicker/stiffer than what these coilovers came with. I'm not trying to ride on stiffer spring rates so they eventually blow. Would these be okay for a car that's a daily and has upgraded sways? I'm trying to find replacement springs that have proper spring rates for my coilovers.

  • Q: spring settings   collin_mcrae 3 years ago

    Answer

what would be a good spring setting for a set of tein racing springs for autocross or rally?

    • A: This depends on many variables, the type of vehicle, the type of circuits, the type of coilover setup, and the preferences of the driver. I recommend emulating successful setups on vehicles running the same events you are going to be running in.

  • Q: different lenght and different spring rates  Père Foura 3 years ago

Is there different lenght and spring rstes that can be offered?

    • A: There is a multitude of options which we would be glad to acquire for you. For a complete list of racing springs, I recommend consulting the manufactures website: http://www.tein.com/products/racing_spring_price_list.html Have a nice day.
