The Process West Upgraded Top mount Intercooler with Shroud Kit is a great upgrade for those of you who are either on stock power levels, or for those of you who plan on performing major turbo upgrades later on down the path. However make no mistake, a larger top mount intercooler is no good unless you have the proper air charge directing the air to the surface of the intercooler. This is where the shroud comes into play. The shroud creates a direct charge to the intercooler which creates more dense air which will result in more power and performance out of your setup.
This is a direct replacement for the factory intercooler. Process West includes everything needed to install this kit which includes hose for your PCV system, silicone couplers, new gaskets for the bypass valve and all the required hardware to make for a ready installation.
This intercooler kit will come in a black finish for those of you who want that clean, stealth like look in the engine bay. The Process West Top Mount Intercooler upgrade is a great idea for those of you who plan on making turbocharger upgrades later on, or for those of you who already have upgraded turbochargers, exhaust systems, or anything else that requires increased boost numbers and power increases.

The quality of these parts are amazing. Packaged very nicely with no blemishes of any sort. The install was a breeze. Every mount, bolt hole, and coupler lines of perfectly with no strain or contact with anything. Something that isn't addressed in the description for this kit that i thought was very cool is the shroud has three provisions for water spray nozzles for extra cooling if you decide to go that route.

Great thanks so much! I'll test fit with my jdm splitter first and leave process west splitter in its packaging. if it matches up well enough I'll ship back the splitter.

A: It depends on your power level, or your power goals. If you're running a TD04, probably not. But anything bigger than the stock STI VF39 this would be a very nice improvement and well worth the money. Also do note that the splitter is designed for the USDM scoop, but should work just fine and will be better than the OEM as it's designed specific for this TMIC. Thanks!
