Bought this for my 2015 STI to go with the blouch 20G-XTR Turbo. I was concerned as the stock intercooler piping was about an inch too short to fit up the the new turbo. Anyone worried, the piping for this does fit and I believe its a little longer, but it took some pushing and wiggling toward the pass side. Tight fit by upper cowl grille, but all in all a good product.

I just installed this on my 2011 STI (EDM), 1hour job, all necessary pipes provided. I do need to chop off 1cm of the silicon Y pipe (on the IC ends) to make the IC moves forward a bit. This is because I have a cusco tower bar. Trust me, it is a simple direct stock replacement. My boost becomes more stable after traffic (you will know if you've been to Hongkong) probably due to cooler air entering the system.

A: it would be pretty close between the two and both are considered one of the highest quality on the market today. i don't know if preocess west has an actual WHP capacity listed, but i think 500WHP would be 100% doable with this. Thanks.

A: Aftermarket intercoolers generally do not reduce spool time because they usually have more volume to fill, but they will be more efficient and cool better than stock. This would work well with a 20G turbo.
