Here, you are looking at the Process West Hood Scoop Splitter. This splitter has been designed to take advantage of the increased surface coverage of a larger intercooler core. A poorly designed splitter will scatter the air flow to the engine bay, while the Process West unit will take the air coming from the hood scoop and direct the air to hit the face of the intercooler for improved cooling efficiency.

I am very happy with the quality of this item. It went on an 05 xt with an 02 sti scoop and an 05 sti tmic. The fit was perfect all around. And, it is 150 dollars cheaper than the Subtle alternative.

Description makes it seem like a hood scoop is included as well but there is no confirmation of that via pictures or in description. Is this a complete pkg or just a splitter.

A: This splitter will fit a Forester XT hood from 2004-2008 that has a JDM hood scoop. It has been specifically designed to work with the Process West top mount intercooler. This unit may work with other brands of intercoolers, but we are unable to confirm fitment. That being said if you wanted to compare the size of the intercoolers it might give you a better idea of how it will fit. The intercooler that pairs with this splitter has the following dimensions: core depth 3.54in, core height 7.6in, and core width 19.44in.
