Here, you are looking at the Process West Hood Scoop Splitter. This splitter has been designed to take advantage of the increased surface coverage of a larger intercooler core. A poorly designed splitter will scatter the air flow to the engine bay, while the Process West unit will take the air coming from the hood scoop and direct the air to hit the face of the intercooler for improved cooling efficiency.

    Does not fit some larger intercoolers 2 years ago

    So I’m running a Torque Solutions top mount intercooler which is almost 3times larger than stock. Great! But the OEM spliter only covers half of the new intercooler. Installed this ProcessWest made for 2004-2008 Forester and the hood won’t close. I can’t imagine this was designed for the OEM intercooler since the opening is too large for the smaller original intercooler. Quality is great.

    Fitment is spot on. Build quality is very good. I am using this in conjunction with an APS TMIC. The Seal created with this splitter is almost over the entire surface of the intercooler. I tried another companies splitter, and was less than pleased with the fitment. I would not hesitate to purchase any of process wests products.
