Here, you are looking at the Process West Hood Scoop Splitter. This splitter has been designed to take advantage of the increased surface coverage of a larger intercooler core. A poorly designed splitter will scatter the air flow to the engine bay, while the Process West unit will take the air coming from the hood scoop and direct the air to hit the face of the intercooler for improved cooling efficiency.

i purchased a PW inter cooler off a friend and needed a shroud... i have a background in metal fab and i was going to make my own but decided to spend the money for this part since it was engineered specifically for my application. i was pleasently supprised when it arrived, the product was made of a sturdy gauge and fit perfectly. on my 04 wrx wagon i have a JDM ej205 wrx motor and to make full function of the splitter sealing corectly i removed my STI scoop and bolted up the splitter so that i could see where it sat on top of the intercooler. i had to use the slots on the interccoler attachments and move the intercooler as close to the intake manifold as possible for the seal on the splitter to line up correctly on the intercooler. the product was packaged awesome , filled with expandable foam for protection, so there should be no worries of receiving an abused package with a damaged product.
It perfectly fit the size of my TurboXS intercooler, fits under the STi scoop. I am happy when a product works.

Q: Is this made out of aluminum or steel? MJ3 years ago
Is this made out of aluminum now or steel? The product details say aluminum but the specifications say steel. The one that was installed on my car 6 years or so ago is rusted beyond repair and I need to replace it.

A: This will not fit a 2015 STI as this is only confirm for a 04-05 STI.

A: The splitter is approximately 18 x 7 inches where it seals to the intercooler.

A: As long as Seibon did not change dimensions of the hood from the stock hood it will fit with no issues. But as its a aftermarket hood we cant confirm fitment.

A: This splitter is designed specifically for the Process West Top Mount Intercooler. This unit may work with other brands of intercoolers, but we are not able to confirm fitment!
