Here, you are looking at the Process West Hood Scoop Splitter. This splitter has been designed to take advantage of the increased surface coverage of a larger intercooler core. A poorly designed splitter will scatter the air flow to the engine bay, while the Process West unit will take the air coming from the hood scoop and direct the air to hit the face of the intercooler for improved cooling efficiency.

all the hopes and dreams for maximum airflow to top mount intercooler (especially for aps largest top mount intercooler) Not good for large intake manifold spacer gaskets by grimspeed (7mm) the 3mm worked perfect
I took a chance but it fit very well with the turbo sx top mount.
I have an APS top mount but it didn't come with a splitter, so finding one that would fit was a gamble. This one turned out to work nearly perfect, just had to trim the rubber weather stripping to fit it under the hood. Also, I have a replica STi scoop, so I'm not sure if it would work with the stock one, but if you're going with a big TMIC on a WRX, might as well get the big scoop. Another thing I love is that there are not one, bit THREE slots for the OEM intercooler spray nozzles. Time for a trip to Subaru. Overall I'm happy that this thing works as well as it does!

Is there a 'compatible hood scoop' for this? I bought this part with the intercooler kit from you like a year ago, so far awesome mod, it allowed me to dial up the boost and keep my timing good... From the beginning the splitter started pushing my stock hood scoop outwards, which made me replace all plastic click-fittings with metal screws, since they broke... Now it's also beating this screws, creating some clearence between the scoop and the hood. Thanks in advance for your help.

A: Unfortunately we cannot verify fitment with products that we do not sell. If your stock splitter fits the hood and lines up with the intercooler, then this one should also fit.

A: This splitter is designed specifically for the USDM WRX hood scoop and will not be a perfect fit for the JDM hood scoop. There will be a gap that will allow air to go around the intercooler rather than through it.

A: This indeed will fit your stock 2002 hood scoop, we haven't gotten fitment confirmation of it with any intercooler cores other than the Process West so we are unsure how well it will work with the TurboXS unit.
