This Proto Tuning Tool Holder has been confirmed to fit the COBB Tuning Accessport.

This thing works great, but I think I've lost the permanent ball mount. I've only been using the vent clip. Now that I've decided to make it a bit more permanent, I was hoping to order a replacement so I can get the ball mount. Is there a way to just get the ball mount? Especially seeing as this is discontinued...

The clip and design is incredible and holds the AP perfectly on my vent on the dash. Very worth the money

I am using the vent clip and am happy with the firm grip this piece has on the vent. The stiffness of the adjustable articulator si just fine and the fitment of the holder on the Accessport is good as well. As a note, I would recommend planning on integrating a switch to your setup for night driving as the computer display is pretty bright and with a permanent mount you will want to be able to turn the computer on and off easily since it is by default always on. Overall quality is good to very good. Metal would make it better, but maybe not much value story there.
Junk dont buy!

The clip end is too flimsy to hold to ap securely to either the defroster or ac vent. Tool kept falling off (while stopped and while driving on smooth roads). Also the ball on the back of the cradle piece snapped off while remounting it to the car one day. So i put the sticky side of the dash mount where the ball used to be and the clip end on the other side to make it work. Then today the clip snapped, go figure. Now its useless all together. Long story short, couldn't mount the ap to the car without it falling off and the plastic broke in 2 places while trying to but it back on...
Q: V3? WRXWagonPSM 3 years agoAnswer
Will this work with the Cobb V3? The adhesive that came with mine is not holding up well at all.
A: This will not work with the V3 due to the V3 being a significantly larger unit.

will this mount be able to fit the Accessport V3?
A: This mount is not correct for the V3 AccessPort and would not hold it properly.

Q: Where can i hide the wire easton_palmer60524 4 years agoAnswer
Where can I hide the wire? Figured I would try and ask on here so if anyone can help that would be great!
A: Some people will try to route it through their air vent. That is the best way unless you wanted to modify the dash, although routing like that will make it a bit permanent.

Q: AP Holder turkeylord 4 years agoAnswer
Is the back of the AP holder flat if you remove the ball mount? I'm thinking of mounting just the holder on my ProClip mount. And if so is there any way to buy the holder separately?
A: If you remove the swivel ball the back of the holder will be flat. We can only order this as a full kit and cannot sell the holder separately.
