  • Q: Mishimoto downpipe  ?11 days ago

I have a 15 wrx and I got a catted mishimoto downpipe, do you know if there is an ots map I need for it with the v3 accessport?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Yep! You'll run the Cobb Stage 2 map for your Mishimoto downpipe. And to get the most out of the setup, make sure you remove the restrictor pill in the vacuum line going to the wastegate, or ideally what I like to do is just remove the line(the one with the braided cover on it) and install a generic 1/4inch or 6mm vacuum line. Just much easier and quicker than trying to dog out the tiny brass restrictor. :) Let us know if you have any questions.

  • Q: Lost and recovered Cobb Ap  Wicked RS17 days ago

Hi, I need some advice with the following. My Cobb Ap was stolen at the end of January 2020. One of my custom maps was loaded on the car at the time. So after six weeks I purchased another Cobb AP , remarried/reinstalled it on my car and all was good again. Then earlier today, my original Cobb AP was recoverred and returned to me. My question is, am I able to just plug in my old AP and use it. I never uninstalled it from my car before it got stolen. What can i do to be able to reuse my old one and probably sell the new one I just purchased?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You bet, you would just want to make sure to unmarry/uninstall the new AP off the ECU, double check that its unmarried, and then install the old AP back to the vehicle. You would then be able to sell the new AP or donate it to a friend if you're feeling ultra generous :)

Is there an out of box tune for a 2016 WRX CVT with an AEM intake installed?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  There is not, Cobb's OTS maps for the 15+ WRX require either a stock intake or Cobb's SF intake.

  • Q: 2017 wrx sti  carterjarrad893 months ago

Just got a 2017 wrx sti. It has a full cobb exhuast with I'm guessing a downpipe it has the heat shield with cobb wrote on it near the turbo on passenger side of vehicle. I just got a cobb sf intake with airbox. Will I be ok to run on stock tune until I can get a cobb accessport ? Or will this cause damage immediately or over time. Kind of new to Subaru's
  • Q: What tune should i be using?  NC_SUBBIE_FAM3 months ago

I have a 2018 Subaru WRX, I recently purchased the accessport. When i installed the stage 1+ mapp on my car i could tell a difference immediately! I'm not sure if it was just the accessport or that and a mix of the cobb solenoid boost controller. I just installed the Cobb resonated J Pipe and Down Pipe, when i changed my tune to stage 2+ my boost does not build as fast and as high as it did on the stage 1+ tune. Should i stay with stage 1 until i install my exhaust?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It sounds like for the mods you were trying to run are not compatible with the Stage 2+ map, for the parts you have once installed, I would recommend a protune.

I have a 2019 Wrx with a Cobb big SF Intake, invidia catless downpipe and invidia n1 exhaust. Can I run the Cobb stage 2+big sf power map?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You would want to have custom tuning done for that, the Cobb OTS maps are designed for downpipes/j-pipes with a high-flow catalytic converter.

A:  for the exhaust you wont have to do a tune and super easy to install if you have the right jacks. i have the tomei exhaust and you will not be disappointed, it sounds amazing. The intake you will have to do a stage 1 tune.

I have an 07 impreza sti. Mine is a weird model that has dealer installed stp intake, stp, downpipe, stp catback, and a Lamoo? Boost gauge. Car also has aftermarket turbo inlet Perin? From what ive read these cars come from the dealer with an "SPT" reflash. Id like to use my current tune but to marry the AP i have to select a preset tune. Is there anyway to keep my factory map or advice on which preset map i should use? Thanks!
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Yes you can marry the Accessport to the car without tuning the car.

Would I be able to run the stage 1+ map or do I run the stage 1 map. All I have is a Perrin cold air intake .
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The Cobb Accessport's OTS maps are calibrated for their product only. This is very crucial as the design varies between different brand intakes.

i got k&n intake hks bov and remark exhaust delete and cobb ap what map i xan use for this mods..
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Cobb's maps are specific to their intakes, you would be able to switch the K&N out for a Cobb SF and run the Stage 1+ map. It's also not recommended to use a VTA blow off valve with Cobb's maps, as they're designed for a stock or recirculating valve.

i have a 2017 sti , just got a sf intake invidia down pipe and a tomei exhaust what tune do i need to run ?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Cobb's OTS maps for 2015+ STI models will not work with both an intake and a downpipe, the stock fuel system will not support both. You'd be able to swap to the stock downpipe and run the Stage 1+ map, swap to the stock intake and run the Stage 2 map, or to upgrade fuel pump and injectors and have a custom tune done.

  • Q: Multiple Maps  DerekBBB7 months ago

The question I have is, would I be able to use multiple maps together? Like for example I’m looking at Bren tune stage 1 Comes with tgv, boost ctrl, their custom etune. However doesn’t have intake labeled. But what if I wanted to add a Cobb big sf intake? Could I combine both the Cobb and brens maps? Or would I have to get another custom tune from Bren to add the intake?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You are not able to combine maps, you would need to have a custom tune done to account for the intake.

Stock 2016 Wrx with catless Invidia downpipe on the way already have accesport is running just stage 2 on it okay ?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Cobb's tunes are made to work with high flow catted downpipes, I would recommend returning the catless downpipe if you're planning to run an OTS map. For Stage 2, you'll also need to delete the 2nd boost restrictor pill.

    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Cobb's maps are desiged for high flow catted downpipes, you'll want to either switch to one of those, or have a custom tune done if you're sticking with the catless setup.

Can currently have my old accessport from my wrx and I purchased a sti can i still use it for my sti?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It would depend on the year of each vehicle. Each Accessport will have a range of model years it is compatible with listed at the bottom of the product page, I would suggest looking up the specific part number for your Accessport, and then checking. You will also need to make sure the Accessport is unmarried from your old vehicle.
