  • Q: Cobb access port and intake   Nick1 day ago

I have a 2017 Subaru wrx with a mishimoto cold air intake and access port . If I uninstall my access port , do I have to put the stock intake back on right away or can I wait a few days ? Going back to stock and selling my access port today but not sure if I have to take my intake off as well
  • Q: Mishimoto exhaust and a cobb tune  kswiz5 days ago

I have a mishimoto catback and a mishimoto cold air intake and plan to get the high flow cat downpipe from mishimoto, would the cobb tune work with this combo
  • Q: Cobb intake without accesport  Cobb cai 8 days ago

I’m about to buy a 2015 wrx that has a Cobb cai do you need to have the accesport to run the vehicle with the intake?
  • Q: AP Map for 2017 Wrx  Justin 12 days ago

I have an ETS intake and an ETS turboback exhaust. My pro-tune isnt for 20 days. What is the recommended map to use?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Unfortunately, Cobb does not have an off the shelf map for the ETS intake at this time. I'd recommend either switching back to your factory intake and running Stage 2 (assuming you're running the catted ETS J-pipe), or requesting that your tuner send you a safe base map to run until your tune.

  • Q: Cobb Stage 1 Requiring Professional Tune?  BruceMoose4115 days ago

I have a 2019 WRX base and all I have additionally installed is a K&N Filter and a Private Label MFG muffler delete. Purchased an AP and flashed to stage 1 93 octane high waste gate. The car runs amazingly. My question is, if I do not plan to add anything additional to add power and leave car as is, do I need a pro tuner. I had a friend that knows much more than me and he said all of the gauges are showing that its running great. A pro tune is a lot of money and if I don't need it, I would rather not do so.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Stage 1 will work just fine for your car, without any mods there is no need for a pro tune.

  • Q: 2018 WRX COBB maps   fastcarz21 month ago

Is their a map for 2018 WRX with just mishimoto cold air intake and a catback?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Cobb only has off the shelf maps for their intakes at this time, the Mishimoto would require custom tuning.

Would I need a cobb accessport even though Im getting a pro tune?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  So that depends, you need to contact the tuner you are going to use and see what software they use and what they require.

Would the Stage 2 tune work with a cobb downpipe, spt catback and air pump delete?
  • Q: Cobb sf intake + Cobb downpipe   Gubbilo5 months ago

Is it possible to run both Cobb sf intake airbox and Cobb Catted downpipe on stock fuel system on my 17 sti, if the car gets a tune or etune, thanx
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You could try to get a pro tune for that setup on the stock fuel system, but you'd need to upgrade the fuel system to reach the potential of the intake and downpipe together.

  • Q: Accessport   John6 months ago

If I put a air intake, downpipe, cat back, uppipe and intercooler on my wrx would it be fine to run it with a stage 2plus tune? Or do you need a protune.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It is recommended to get a professional tune to get the best gains from your modifications however the Cobb OTS maps will be sufficient to run these parts.

  • Q: Tune  TYPICALALLSTAR6 months ago

I have a 2015 sti and today I just found out that my cobb ofs stage 2 tune won't work properly with my cobb air intake grimmspeed downpipe and tomei cb exhaust. So I was told to put the stock intake back in and get a protune which won't be done for another month... So my question is if I put the stock intake back in will I be hitting higher boost again since I'm only hitting max of like 10psi since my dam is preventing it from going any higher?
  • Q: 2017 Wrx  Jormanwrx 6 months ago

I have a Tomei Catback exhaust and a ETS intake. Is a there a map for that?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  While the COBB maps can be used with other products they are confirmed for COBB parts only.

  • Q: Cold Air Intake Issues  Broncos Country 6 months ago

I have a 2017 WRX MT and the AEM intake I have is tripping warning lights in the dash and affecting the performance of the vehicle. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve? Was looking at adding the Accessport to see if it could help...
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The AEM intake does require custom tuning. Cobb does not currently offer an OTS map for it, you'll want to take it to a local pro tuner. Many tuners do use Cobb's Accesstuner software, so this could still be of benefit to you.

Will this have a map if I’m running ETS intake and Tomei Catback?
  • Q: CAI and tuning   Plainmax 6 months ago

Newly getting into car stuff and learning as I go... just bought a 2013 wrx mostly stock. got the Cobb CAI and getting ready to install it but I still need to buy the access port first right? And after the access port do I still need to get a pro tune?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The Cobb Stage 1+ SF map will be what you'll want for your vehicle, assuming the CAI is your only power related modification. That map will work for your vehicle, and it will not require a pro tune unless you add other power related parts.

  • Q: 2015+ WRX Premium  benjammino46 months ago

I have a 2015 wrx, accessport, AEM intake Magnaflow Catback exhaust. Are there any appropriate MAPs for this?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Sadly Cobb has not released any tunes for the AEM intake, however, the OTS map should be sufficient all though we do recommend a pro tune.

  • Q: Accessport v3  Oldschooldriver7 months ago

My older brother has a 2017 wrx with no mods whatsoever. I've driven this car as well and it's no question it has terrible turbo lag which makes daily driving an issue . Is there a map included with this device that will address just the lag? Not interested in any extra power or anything, just a smooth driving experience . Look forward to a response. GB
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The OTS maps will help with the smoothness and responsiveness of the power band, as well as reducing lag, but they'll also have extra power over stock.

  • Q: Cobb v3 assessport with cosworth intake  andy8 months ago

I just bought a cosworth intake for my 2018 sti. I heard some say a tune is recommended but not required. I’m wondering if I can use Cobb ap with the cosworth intake.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Cobb will only have tunes for there intakes, It is highly recommended running a tune for any intake on a WRX/STI.

  • Q: Stage 2 map saved?  JaysunWRX9 months ago

I recently got a protune for stage 2 on my 2017 STI. If I unmarry the AP from the STI and use it for my 2016 WRX, will the Stage 2 map be saved onto the accessport?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  If you unmarry the accessport from your STI, I believe it will revert back to factory settings/tunes. However, you can download Cobb's Download Manager onto your desktop or laptop and save any current maps.

  • Q: Cobb accessport  Thebarbernick9 months ago

How reliable is the accessport? All I'm looking on doing is stage 1 in the future
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Cobb designs their maps with a ton of research before releasing them to ensure reliability and performance. You won't see the highest HP gains compared to a custom tune, but Cobb's OTS maps are going to be a safe and reliable tune.
