  • Q: Cobb Accessport  Brian3 months ago

Would I need a cobb accessport even though Im getting a pro tune?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  So that depends, you need to contact the tuner you are going to use and see what software they use and what they require.

Would the Stage 2 tune work with a cobb downpipe, spt catback and air pump delete?
  • Q: Cobb sf intake + Cobb downpipe   Gubbilo3 months ago

Is it possible to run both Cobb sf intake airbox and Cobb Catted downpipe on stock fuel system on my 17 sti, if the car gets a tune or etune, thanx
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You could try to get a pro tune for that setup on the stock fuel system, but you'd need to upgrade the fuel system to reach the potential of the intake and downpipe together.

  • Q: Accessport   John3 months ago

If I put a air intake, downpipe, cat back, uppipe and intercooler on my wrx would it be fine to run it with a stage 2plus tune? Or do you need a protune.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It is recommended to get a professional tune to get the best gains from your modifications however the Cobb OTS maps will be sufficient to run these parts.

  • Q: Tune  TYPICALALLSTAR4 months ago

I have a 2015 sti and today I just found out that my cobb ofs stage 2 tune won't work properly with my cobb air intake grimmspeed downpipe and tomei cb exhaust. So I was told to put the stock intake back in and get a protune which won't be done for another month... So my question is if I put the stock intake back in will I be hitting higher boost again since I'm only hitting max of like 10psi since my dam is preventing it from going any higher?
  • Q: 2017 Wrx  Jormanwrx 4 months ago

I have a Tomei Catback exhaust and a ETS intake. Is a there a map for that?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  While the COBB maps can be used with other products they are confirmed for COBB parts only.

  • Q: Cold Air Intake Issues  Broncos Country 4 months ago

I have a 2017 WRX MT and the AEM intake I have is tripping warning lights in the dash and affecting the performance of the vehicle. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve? Was looking at adding the Accessport to see if it could help...
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The AEM intake does require custom tuning. Cobb does not currently offer an OTS map for it, you'll want to take it to a local pro tuner. Many tuners do use Cobb's Accesstuner software, so this could still be of benefit to you.

Will this have a map if I’m running ETS intake and Tomei Catback?
  • Q: CAI and tuning   Plainmax 4 months ago

Newly getting into car stuff and learning as I go... just bought a 2013 wrx mostly stock. got the Cobb CAI and getting ready to install it but I still need to buy the access port first right? And after the access port do I still need to get a pro tune?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The Cobb Stage 1+ SF map will be what you'll want for your vehicle, assuming the CAI is your only power related modification. That map will work for your vehicle, and it will not require a pro tune unless you add other power related parts.

  • Q: 2015+ WRX Premium  benjammino44 months ago

I have a 2015 wrx, accessport, AEM intake Magnaflow Catback exhaust. Are there any appropriate MAPs for this?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Sadly Cobb has not released any tunes for the AEM intake, however, the OTS map should be sufficient all though we do recommend a pro tune.

  • Q: Accessport v3  Oldschooldriver4 months ago

My older brother has a 2017 wrx with no mods whatsoever. I've driven this car as well and it's no question it has terrible turbo lag which makes daily driving an issue . Is there a map included with this device that will address just the lag? Not interested in any extra power or anything, just a smooth driving experience . Look forward to a response. GB
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The OTS maps will help with the smoothness and responsiveness of the power band, as well as reducing lag, but they'll also have extra power over stock.

  • Q: Cobb v3 assessport with cosworth intake  andy6 months ago

I just bought a cosworth intake for my 2018 sti. I heard some say a tune is recommended but not required. I’m wondering if I can use Cobb ap with the cosworth intake.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Cobb will only have tunes for there intakes, It is highly recommended running a tune for any intake on a WRX/STI.

  • Q: Stage 2 map saved?  JaysunWRX6 months ago

I recently got a protune for stage 2 on my 2017 STI. If I unmarry the AP from the STI and use it for my 2016 WRX, will the Stage 2 map be saved onto the accessport?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  If you unmarry the accessport from your STI, I believe it will revert back to factory settings/tunes. However, you can download Cobb's Download Manager onto your desktop or laptop and save any current maps.

  • Q: Cobb accessport  Thebarbernick6 months ago

How reliable is the accessport? All I'm looking on doing is stage 1 in the future
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Cobb designs their maps with a ton of research before releasing them to ensure reliability and performance. You won't see the highest HP gains compared to a custom tune, but Cobb's OTS maps are going to be a safe and reliable tune.

  • Q: Accessport v3  Gubbilo7 months ago

I have a 2017 sti. I want to add the Cobb sf intake. Can I run a stage 2 map with my Cobb downpipe and invidia r400 catback. If I run the stage 2 map with the Cobb sf intake will it damage my motor. If not is upgrading my fuel pump and injectors to 1050 be enough to run the Cobb sf intake
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  On a 2015+ STI you would not be able to run an intake on the stage 2 map. You would need to go up to a stage 3 to run both intake and downpipe which does require you to upgrade the fueling.

  • Q: Access port   Nick 8 months ago

I have a 2003 wrx with a 3in invidia catted down pipe, to a 3in catted exhaust, stock upipe, it also has an sti timac and aftermarket intake, I was wondering if i could run an access port v3 with a stage 2 map?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Cobb's OTS maps are designed specifically for their parts, so we can only confirm compatibility for Cobb brand intake and exhausts. However, it can be used to account for the upgrades before getting a pro/custom tune.

  • Q: Tune  Dylin8 months ago

I have a 2018 sti and I have a Cobb down pipe with ets cat back and a Cobb intake. I was wondering if you make a tune for this because I seen a stage 2 tune but it was for down pipe and cat back with the stock intake and not the Cobb intake.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Good morning! If the 2018 STi is anything like the 15-17 then there will not be a map for both of those together. Cobb did not feel that the stock injectors could supply enough fuel to run the 2 together. You can run one or the other but not both. If you wanted to run both you would need to get a pro tune on the car and upgrade injectors/ pump to run both.

I have an 03 wrx and it has an aftermarket intercooler and a 3inch whole exhaust. My car hesitates and everybody is telling me this will help my car alot
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This would not be the correct accessport for your vehicle unfortunately. As far as the mods that you have though, You would need a pro tune as Cobb doesn't have a map for the intercooler. Most pro tuners do use an accessport for tuning purposes but you just want to make sure you are using our vehicle filter and getting the correct one for your car!

With the Cobb acessport v3 work with my wrx, it has a intercooler and whole 3inch perrin exhaust ?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Depending on the year maybe. You will need to confirm that before purchasing but it won't tune for your intercooler, and it will tune for your downpipe and exhaust.

Will the stage 1 work with my 05 legacy gt with the stock k&n air intake
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Accessport maps are only calibrated for Cobb parts so unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to confirm that. This is also not a compatible accessport for your vehicle.
