  • Q: Tuning   Saves2 years ago

I have a Subaru WRX Limited 2018 CVT and I'm going to install a AWE Touring Edition Exhaust , will I need a tune and what will that be if so?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You do not need tuning for an aftermarket cat back. But an AccessPort is always a good option for a turbo Subaru.

  • Q: Intake and access port  2018 Sti Sam2 years ago

Do I have to run a Cobb intake and turbo inlet if I get a Cobb access port, or can I run Perrin stuff? I have a 2018 sti base
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Cobb's OTS maps are meant for Cobb items, but you can use this with other brands but you may need custom tuning to take full advantage of the power gains.

  • Q: 2016 wrx tune  chance2 years ago

i have a 2016 wrx with a cobb big sf intake and a tomei catback exhaust and 93 octane, what tune should i run on my AP, and what tune should i do if i get a downpipe as well?
  • Q: Cobb Tuning   darth.subie2 years ago

Whats up, I have a 2017 Subaru WRX Premium. I'm running a Cobb ap and a Cobb Big SF intake. I just put an Invida J pipe on there. What tune would you recommend? Before the J pipe I was running Stage 1+ Big SF. What should I run now? I know I should get it protuned but that won't be for a little bit. Currently Running the Stage 2 91 tune, is that ok?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  With an aftermarket turbo back, you would want a tune, the OTS maps are meant for Cobb parts. I would recommend setting up that protune.

  • Q: Cobb accessport  Jben7!2 years ago

I have a 2017 wrx limited. I had a shop do a custom muffler and resonator delete. Just ordered the AP and intake from Cobb. Which map should I run? And I use 91 octane.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  For your Cobb intake, you could use the Stage 1+ map. Cat back exhausts do not effect tunes.

  • Q: What map should I use?  jonathan.agudo442992 years ago

I am currently running Stage 2+SF on my 2015 sti w/ Cobb intake, Nameless catted dp, and Nameless axleback. I will soon be installing Tomei UEL headers and a Nameless midpipe to complete the TBE. I understand with the headers that I'll need a protune, but which map can I safely use in the meantime with all these modifications?
  • Q: Tune  JuzzyWRX2 years ago

I have a 2018 Subaru WRX Premium with an ETS intake. Which map would be the safest map to run? I only have access to 91 octane in my state.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The ETS intake, using a stock sized MAF housing does not need a tune. So you would treat your car as stock when selecting a map.

I have the accessport on my 05 wrx and have been running stage 1 for about a month. I have a aftermarket catback and a aftermarket intake. I was wondering if I need the Cobb specific intake to run stage 1+ or does it not make that much of a difference?

  • Q: I was told one of the stock maps will work for my AEM cai  tigermann06252 years ago

I'm super new to modding and I was told by a few people that the pre loaded maps will work with my AEM cai. Can anyone confirm this? Its the only mod I have on my stock 2017 wrx limited cvt.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The AEM Cold Air Intake would require a tune, the Cobb Maps are only designed for Cobb SF Intakes, or stock air intakes/air filters. It would be ideal to get a tune meant for your intake.

  • Q: Stage 1 Tune Question  lilmessi232 years ago

I have a 2020 WRX and just got an Accessport for it. I’m currently running a Nameless Axelback exhaust and a K&N air filter (just the filter). Can I still go stage 1 even if it says the recommended mods are stock?
  • Q: What tune should I get?   Nathan A. 2 years ago

I drive a 2008 STI with a GFB BOV set at 50/50 and a greddy single exit catback. I’m thinking about getting either an invidia catted Downpipe or a Cobb intake. If I got either or both, what map/maps would be best to run? Thanks!
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You would likely want to run the Stage 2+ SF map once the intake and downpipe are installed.

  • Q: 2005 Subaru wrx what map do I use  2005 wrx2 years ago

Hi! I have a 2005 Subaru wrx at and it has a cat back exhaust with a down pipe along with headers and a cold air intake what map should I use?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  For an aftermarket, non-Cobb turbo back, you will want to run a stage 2 map, to get the most out of your other mods, you would likely want to seek a pro tune from a local tuner.

    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  normally you would be at a stage 2 map, but with the intake, you may want to consider a custom tune with that as Cobb does not have a map specific for that particular intake. Thanks.

  • Q: 2019 wrx ets intake invidia catless dp  Andy 2 years ago

I have a 2019 wrx with a ets intake and invidia catless downpipe could you point me in the direction of tuning my car if there are no maps available?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You could possibly get away with running the Cobb Stage 2 +SF with your setup, but that is supposed to be for a catted downpipe. I would highly recommend contacting your local tuning shop for a protune.
