  • Q: Exhaust tune  Indigo4773 months ago

Would I be able to tune a nameless muffler delete with the v3 ? If not what are the best recommended parts that are tunable with the accessport ?
  • Q: Access Port   Marco B. 4 months ago

If I want to just install a cat back exhaust, what map should I be running on the access port ? I have a 2015 STI.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This AP will not work with your car, but no tune is needed. A tune will however maximize the power out of a catback installation.

  • Q: Intake + tuning  Srichardson2254 months ago

Are their any other intakes besides the Cobb that are supported by the accessport? 2015 sti
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Manufacturers differ from how they are made to what COBBs maps are made for. It would be suggested to consult a local tuner to make sure your intake will work.

  • Q: Accessport  Carsen5 months ago

I used my V3 accessport for a 2006 wrx and a guy wants to buy it from me for his 2008 wrx, will that’s work?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The V3 AccessPORT for a 2006 WRX will not work on a 2008 WRX, which is part # AP3-SUB-002. This is part # AP3-SUB-003 which will work for a 2008 WRX

    • 0 of 2 people found the following answer helpful

A:  No it wont. If I understand you correctly, (1) you flashed a Stage 1 or 2 tune to your car. (2) after flashing you want to leave the AP hooked up so you can read the guages and stuff (3) while all this is going on your wondering if by you doing number (1) (2) at the same time, will this in turn erase your previously flashed tune? If all the above is correct, this will NOT ERASE YOUR TUNE. Whatever knucklehead said it would should be slapped.

  • Q: Maps  DeadlyPeenut7 months ago

Do I have to flash a map onto my car or can I install it just for the logs and such. Looking to do mods soon and not sure if it's worth flashing the ECU right now. My 2019 sti is stock and I dont know what map to use
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The Stage 1 map will work with a mechanically stock 19 STI, but you'll need part number: COB AP3-SUB-004, the -003 will not work with your car.

are there Any available tunes for Stage 1+ that will make the car backfire and pop, or is there any way to download non Cobb Tunes to my AP?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You are able to have custom maps made via Accesstuner and loaded to your Accessport. There are no specific OTS tunes for backfires for the STI at this time.

A:  Unfortunately, COBB does not have an OTS map that would work with the catless downpipe, a custom tune would be your best option.

  • Q: 2017 WRX Limited  Bobby Lee10 months ago

I have a 2017 WRX Limited with the Cobb Stage 2+ Big SF (resonated j-pipe) package. Do I need to be running the stage 2+ map or is it okay to run the stage 0 (simulated stock) map at times?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  If you have all the parts to support the stage 2 map that is what you need to run. You cannot run stage 0 with those parts.

  • Q: APV3 stage 1 flash  E90VPHelp12 months ago

I recently purchased a Cobb access port v3 and flashed my 2010 335i to stage 1 “sport” and immediately started to have misfires. I then switched to stage 1 “drive “ which worked much better but still the odd misfire after a long pull. My question here is, what do I need to do to comfortably flash to stage 1 and can you even do it on a stock engine?
    • 0 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Unfortunately, it sounds like you may have a larger issue than the tune. I would have a mechanic take a look at your car or try reaching out to COBB directly to see if they have any recommendations!

  • Q: Swapping between Stage1 93 and Stage 0 Realtime  whorne890883712 months ago

On my 2015 STi my engine is completely unmodified and running the Stage1 93 tune. I like switching between the Stage0 and stage1 and having the ability to swap these maps real-time. Is it harmful or just generally not good to frequently go between the Stage0 and 1 map? Should you keep at Stage 1 and only use Real-time flash for swapping between the corresponding Stage1 maps like 91,93, and eco?
    • 0 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Stage 0 is you map that comes on the car from factory. Stage 1 is Cobbs map that will add a little performance. I would not recommend switching back and forth in maps. I would just pick one and stick with it.
