This compact device is a all around device that I use for my daily wrx it’s simple and easy to use design to install OTS tunes from Cobb and other capability such as to data log as well as to check for codes and I would highly recommend this product any subaru owners.
I've had the stage 1 tune from this accessport on my car for almost 3 months now and the biggest difference I have noticed is the power in Sport and Sport Sharp mode. This tuner works the same as any other where the screen displays your directions and you choose your preferred map.
This is by far the best thing I've ever bought for a car. took like 3min to install and was instantly a different car. it is ssssssoooooooo much smoother than the stock tune on the car. I was also unaware that launch control was on here from stock. I thought you had to download it. But you don't it's already on here. So this is the easiest and best way to upgrade your car. The only thing I don't like is the price, should be around $100 less but it's still an amazing product The mount that comes with it is not 14 WRX friendly. it may work good with other vehicles but not this one. but I bought a $5 vent mount from Walmart and fixed the problem. Overall its awesome tuning tool and I recommend this be your first purchase for your car.
2014 WRX, keeping it relatively stock but the factory tune is not smooth and I don't like that feeling. Stage 1 made such a difference, felt a little more power but the smoothness is what made me the happiest, no more weird hesitation up top. The mount it comes with is not 14 WRX friendly. Oh and it took less than 5 minutes to install.
I went from a completely stock 2014 WRX sedan to a Stage 2+ and it completely changed my car! I love driving it every day and COBB AP just made it super easy to accomplish! Can't say its worth every penny at that price I think $575 would be a better price but it is what it is.

Q: Cobb v3 tune Supercooped3 months agoDoes my car need to be on a stock tune before I install the stage 3 tune? My old tuner broke so I can not convert back to the stock tune
Q: Engine swap dr10433 months agoIf I swapped the engines, same engine just a different one, do I need to reinstall the access port?
Q: Installing an accessport over a tune Nate3 months agoI have a 2013 wrx and a little over a year ago my car was tuned for optimization and throttle response. I just bought an accessport but before i install it it says “installation of this accessport over anything other than OEM or COBB software may result in ECU/TCU failure,” I’m perfectly fine with my current tune being overwritten, I just want to make sure I won’t cause ECU failure through installation. The initial tune was done through a shop, and im not sure what software they used to tune, am I taking a big risk by installing it?
Q: Cobb AccessPort Turbos n Hoes4 months agoDo I have to use the accessport with ONLY cobb products or can I mix up the companies with the mods I use?

A: You are welcome to use other companies as well, but there may not be a tune map made just for your combo of parts and you may need to get a custom tune.Travis D. @ RallySport Direct

Q: Compatibility Mattylow13rex4 months agoOk so this is a tough one and if you guys can’t answer then I’m gonna have to call a tuning shop and find out. So my ej25 blew up due to ringland failure (surprise, surprise lol) and I bought a jdm ej205 to swap into my car because it was a little cheaper and I wouldn’t have to worry about the ringland problem. I had to switch wiring harnesses because the jdm harness on the 2.0 was routed the opposite way for rhd cars. So I swapped my 2.5 harness onto the 2.0 and my question is could I use this AP in my 2013 wrx that has the 2.0 motor in it with the 2.5 harness? I don’t see why it would be a problem since I have the ej25 harness on the motor but I just want to clear it up before I order it and it not work.
