MODEL # COBAP3-SUB-001

$695.00

  • Q: Cobb   Jetgti 1 year ago

I have a 2003 wrx with protune headers and up pipe, 3in down pipe and 3 in cat back with all cat delete abs egr delete and a Cobb cold air intake. It needs a tune really bad. I’m buying a Cobb access port soon what tune should I run?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It sounds like you need a custom tune from a professional tuner. With your mods, an OTS map would not work well.

  • Q: Cobb accessport   Dylan Smoyer1 year ago

I recently bought an invidia catted down pipe and a nameless axle back exhaust. I want to run a Cobb cold air intake and a Cobb accespport. Will the accessport function with the exhaust and downpipe I have purchased?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  While the AccessPort will work, the OTS maps are not meant for the Invidia down pipe. The catback won't effect it, but their OTS maps are meant for Cobb parts specifically.

  • Q: Jdm ej207 Cobb AP OTS map   02bugeye 3 years ago

Will any of the OTS maps work with a jdm ej207 with all cats?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Unfortunately, Cobb's OTS maps will only work with USDM vehicles, they don't currently offer anything for the EJ207.

  • Q: Cobb accessport  That_Subie_Tho3 years ago

I have a 2005 Subaru legacy gt I recently straight piped it. It had a second cat after the down pipe I removed that second one but left the down pipe cat on. Can I use a cobb accessport to tune for that missing cat?
  • Q: COBB  matti3 years ago

Does this work in Europe? I really need a COBB AccessPORT. I have never seen anyone have a COBB AccessPORT in Finland so i was wondering does it work in here? :D maby a stupid question but need to be sure :D
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Unfortunately the COBB AccessPORT is only compatible with USDM vehicles. Although there are stand alone ECUs you are able to use for tuning, ie Haltech, LINK, and AEM.

  • Q: Cobb AP for Catback  Quapa19943 years ago

New to the Subaru world. Do I need to get a Cobb Access Port for an Invidia N1 catback exhaust? I’ve read mixed opinions. Thanks
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Although a catback will not require a tune, you can still run an OTS Accessport map with it, and you'd benefit from power gains.

  • Q: Need a re-tune??  scholtes1979176723 years ago

I have an 05 wrx with a cobb sf intake, cobb bpv, cobb 3 port ebcs, turboxs 3" turbo back exhaust, and accessport with stage 2+ tune. I'm wondering if I need a re-tune if I add a grimmspeed TMIC, prosport header and up-pipe, and NGK one step colder plugs?? Also, what would my new HP numbers be roughly???
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Although TMICs and headers don't necessarily require a tune, I would recommend it, especially to take full advantage of possible power gains. Your peak power numbers will depend on your tuner, fuel type, injectors, etc.

  • Q: Cobb Accesport v3  eksafredman3 years ago

Hi. Can I run a Cobb Accesport tune on my 2003 wrx that has a Toyosport catback exhaust. Im also planning a cold air intake. And what tune should it be? Do i need a protune?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  If you run Cobb's intake, you would be able to run their Stage 1 OTS map. For other brands' intakes, you will want to have a pro tune done.

  • Q: 2015+ sti ets catback exhaust midpipe  Scared_sti3 years ago

Would I need to get an access port if I got a eta midpipe or could I run it without put it?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Midpipes/catbacks can be run without tuning on Subarus. That said, if it is the only modification to the vehicle, you would also be able to get the Accessport and run Cobb's Stage 1 OTS map.

  • Q: Compatibility with 2.1L stroker or 2.5 Transplant  WildWRX4 years ago

Looking to upgrading my 2.0 to either the 2.1L STi crank and stroker rods and pistons or 2.5L STi engine. Can I use the APC-SUB-001 which I already have, with my 03 WRX CPU to control the EJ257? Or am I limited to the EJ205?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You are going to need a pro tune.

  • Q: Will this work on a 2006 WRX?  AyaAnnyG4 years ago

So I just turned my 05' WRX back to stock and got myself a 06' WRX which i want to mod with. Any way for it to make it function or is it still plug-n-play?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The 06 WRX would require AP3-SUB-002, your best option would probably be to sell the Accessport from your 05 secondhand, and purchase the 06 WRX Accessport.

  • Q: Tune  M1Freeway4 years ago

I've got a tmic, invidia catless downpipe, invidia catback r400 exhaust, 1000cc fuel injectors, DW300c fuel pump, cobb tune fuel pressure regulator kit and was wondering if the accessport would work? or should i forget about the accessport and get a protune?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You would need a protune for your setup. However, many tuners tune through AccessTuner, and you'd still be able to monitor gauges, read codes, store maps, etc with the Accessport, so it would still have some benefits.

A:  Yes, the Accessport will wipe out a pro tune when marrying, and Cobb recommends you save a copy of the tune to your computer before marrying the Accessport.
