Ordered this lovely piece. Got it 3 days later from RSD. Went to Cobb's site , got the AP manager and downloaded the map to match my mods. Everything works very smooth and excellent. Can definitely feel more pull from the EVO X. Thank you COBB and RallySportDirect. Good combination. Long live the third pedal

Had this for about 7 months. Ran with stage 1 ACN sf map. Today I'm now running the stage 3 map with Cobb sf intake, Cobb u/l ic piping, Cobb ebcs, Cobb dp, Cobb hfc, ets v2 exhaust. Runs rich but definitely noticeable gains! Ap measured 408tq on my 2014 MR. Good enough till my pro tune!

Cobb Accessport 2012 Evo GSR 5 years ago
5out of 5stars

After receiving this for Christmas and working with it for about 5 days I am returning the V3 AP. Thank goodness Rally Sport Directs return policy lets me do this. I have owned a V1 AP, V2 AP and now the V3 AP the first 2 for my WRX and the last for my Evo. The first two were a little shaky on the hardware and the implementation, felt cheap, had to use multiple jumpers etc. but they had great maps and were totally worth it. The V3 for the Evo is the total opposite, the hardware is fantastic and the maps are junk. I tried every version of the stg 1 map I could find, including the V4.03 maps on Cobb's website and they all knocked like crazy and killed my fuel mileage. I was recording up to 5 consecutive knock events with the most conservative map they made and my mileage went from about 20 combined hwy and city to about 13. If you want a shiny toy that may crack your pistons and will definitely kill your mpg this is the product.

This so far is my favorite part for my 2013 evo x. I felt the power even though I only have intake and tanabe turbo back

Evo X, cool hardware, not sure about the tunes 12 months ago
4out of 5stars

Bought the AP for my 2012 Evo X so I can load a tune to match my intake, downpipe, hf cat, boost solenoid, and exhaust. Surprised at how light and hollow this thing feels, the plastic isn't flimsy and buttons feel firm so it doesn't feel like it will break, but still feels kind of "cheap". Install was easy, only took 10 min and was able to hide the wiring inside the fuse panel. It's also nice to have a display to monitor the engine with Boost, Load, MAF readings, etc but its hard to tell which are actual readings and which are calculated based off other sensors. The off-the-shelf tunes have me worried. Lots of people complain about them for the Evo X, I went with the stage 3 to match my mods and make use of the Cobb boost solenoid I bought. However, the boost solenoid instructions state not to use the OTS maps, but the OTS stage 3 map says it requires the solenoid, making the instructions confusing. After driving at highway speed I keep getting a check engine light saying the post O2 sensor is too lean, but all the readings seem to be within range. Luckily, most tuning shops work with Cobb AP's and can make a pro tune map for my vehicle to fix the issues.
