Easy install, does exactly what it should do. This unit does fit my 2000 Impreza 2.5RS

Installed in a 05' EDM STi. Noticeable increase in NVH, due to stiffer connection to firewall. Engine vibration could be felt more on the brake pedal. Definitely a good upgrade from stock when stiffer mount is what you want.

Excellent Quality. I installed this on a 2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i MT. Not sure how much it improved driveline movement but it transmits a bit of engine noise into the cabin, which is nice.
Does its job, part of the essentials

It's a solid piece for anyone who uses their car as a DD and backroad warrior, not for racers. The bushings are much stiffer than the factory chewing gum, but the plastic could still break if you're beating on your car like drag or auto-x. I can't speak to the actual difference it made, since it should be part of an essential drivetrain upgrade package (this, eninge/trans mounts, subframe bushings, etc.) and I installed it as such, but you can feel the difference in stiffness with a screwdriver through the crush sleeve.

This product did what was expected. Reduced some slop and made the car feel better. Increased NVH, but nothing obscene.
Q: Compared to 2011 wrx morovians 3 years agoAnswer
Is this the same OEM part as the 2011 wrx or is it an upgrade?
A: This is the same design as the stock mount, but is an upgrade because it uses stiffer rubber.

Q: Prevents forward and back motion Weazy 5 years agoAnswer
does the statement about forward and rearwar movement really mean side to side because of the boxer engine twisting not rocking like a normal inline 4
A: You are correct about the boxer engine twisting, but this pitch stop mount is made to help reduce forward and rearward movement when transferring power to the transmission and drivetrain. To help the side to side motion we recommend changing out the engine mounts. :)

A: This eliminates fore and aft pitch of the motor due to the design of the front differential the motor tends to pitch this way because it essentially wants to climb the front diff.

Q: NVH? vash337 5 years agoAnswer
is this what one should consider when looking for a "street" upgrade that wont be as harsh as poly/75a pitch stops? i want to decrease the slop, but increase the cabin noise as little as possible. thanks
A: This would be the best pitch stop for someone in your position. It will have the least increase in cabin noise compared to any of the other units on the aftermarket. Reason is that it uses hard rubber bushings compared to other manufactures urethane that and is able to absorb more of the engines vibrations instead of transmitting it into the cabin.
