I used purchased and use the product because I had to. The stock one sucks. This piece perform great! The issue is the installation. The clamps that were included did not have ANY leeway and basically did not fit over the bulge on the throttle body or intercooler, I had to use the stock ones. Plus it did not fit as good as I would hope, maybe it was the way/direction I installed it? I tried many ways and still a little off. (it did not align perfectly on the intercooler, not flush). Maybe that is my point I think, Perrin could inform better on how exactly is goes in (what side goes to throttle body and intercooler) and not just say pay attention on how you took off the stock one
