Purchased this to install on my 2011 XT. All previous reviews mention T-Bolt clamps, however the picture shows normal clamps. Normally wouldn't be an issue, but the quality of the new style included clamps is terrible. Even the installation instructions link on this page state T-Bolt clamps are included. The coupler itself is great quality, but do yourself a favor and go buy some upgraded clamps before beginning the install. 1 star for ease of install based on the terrible clamps, 5 stars for quality based on the coupler itself.

So the install is not bad at all. I had issues due to stupidity from previous owners, which made it a pain in the butt, and you can see most of that on my Twitch Channel (ScuubZ) I made a Premiere for it. Quality is most definitely there. Thick, high-quality silicone, layered mesh, and fits right in when done properly. Line it up with your factory piece, or whatever you're replacing, to make sure it's clocked correctly, and it all slides right in, AND it comes with sweet new clamps! Hellz yeah! DON'T LOSE YOUR GASKETS OR O-RINGS ON INSTALL! ;)

I'm sure most people who are looking at this item are aware of the fitment issues with the stock hose and the awful couplers on it that rip or slip off or otherwise let your boost escape. This item was seemingly easy to install, but I had to take it off many times to adjust it before finally getting a good fit. I knew it was in place when it worked because it slid in like a glove and the turbo side of the intercooler lined up perfectly too, I never knew it could be so easy getting the intercooler back on the car until having this installed. The replacement T clamps are fantastic and easy to use. Overall a fairly easy mod that should guarantee a fix to one of the most common boost leaks in these cars

Replaced the factory hose with this due to major boost issues when I went stage 2. Read online that the factory hose is only meant to hold stock boost (I'm at 20 PSI), that's probably why mine kept blowing off. This hose is a PITA to install but well worth the trouble. Thanks RSD!

One of the key causes of boost leak is due to the factory intercooler/throttlebody coupler. This product uses a much more durable material for the boot, heavy duty T-bolt clamps, and there is no flimsy gasket to deal with. I recommend using a little bit of lubricating oil on the ends to make installation easier. Once installed the fit is great, and I have yet to have any boost leak issues.
